We develop and implement various projects through national and European cooperations, we have more and more foreign partners, connections with Serbian, Romanian and Bulgarian organizations.
Our association was founded by university professors and researchers from the fields of social science with the aim to map social changes and transformations in the South Great Plains Region and at national level. With our work, we would like to research and assess the social processes generated by the EU membership. Our main activities include examining the ethnical and cultural diversity of our region. Our colleagues participate in creating the groundwork for regional and national strategies for strengthening the civil society and we also manage developing projects.
We conducted researches several times at Szegedi Ifjúsági Napok (Youth Days of Szeged Festival, Hungary’s oldest youth festival with tens of thousands of participants) and at other festivals and events. The aim of the researches were to survey the youth communities, and the life strategies, carrier plans, labor market experiences and migration strategies of young people.
We conduct labor market researches in the South Great Plains Region with the support of the National Employment Foundation.
Our activists participate in programs fostering the social integration of Roma people. We make action plans in order to stop discriminatory tendencies resulting from cultural differences.
