General Information
Since its inception in 1991, Panorama Center has been focusing exclusively on democracy dissemination, community development, training and capacity building, networking and institutional development for community based organizations, research and promotion of youth leadership and activities, among many other areas of interest. Through the 5 offices the center operates, in the main three geographical Palestinian territories, Panorama does achieve its main objectives, and touches base with tens of thousands of beneficiaries and hundreds of organizations and institutions. Panorama has 23 full time staff in WB & GS and hundreds of volunteers. Our 2005 budget was around 1,300,000 USD that were allocated from European and American organizations. Panorama is coordinating for the Palestine Democracy Network and the Arab Democracy Network and is affiliated to several regional and international Forums.
Mission and Objectives

Our mission is to actively participate in community development and to raise public awareness on issues related to civil society in Palestine. Objectives: To participate in the development of Palestinian society, and to promote the notions of the civic society amongst Palestinians. To disseminate the norms of citizenship, accountability, transparency, and good governance. To work on strategic issues through think tanks and research. To build the human resource and institutional capacities of different sectors and organizations. To promote the advancement of women and support the acknowledgment of their independent identity. To network and coordinate with other organizations and groups interested in democracy and community development at the local, regional, and international level.

General Information
The Palestinian Youth Organizations Network is an independent, not-for-profit organization that connects about fourty youth development organizations operating in Palestine. It was launched and legally registered in the Palestinian Ministry of Interior in 2004. It is led by a higher committee represents 9 member organizations, specialized in Youth-oriented activities. It has operational crew who are are responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring and assessing project activities through out the Palestinian territories . The budgetary resources are local and internal donations and grants as well as the subsecription of the member organizations . It implement Youth Exchange , capacity building , training , awareness raising , networking , information sharing projects . It has a It aims at enhancing the impact of youth development programs, sharing information and best practices amongst the member organizations, securing resources to support youth development programs and advocating for the interests of young people. Our main partner is the NGO development Center and the World Bank .
Mission and Objectives

–Create a framework for cooperation, coordination and solidarity among Palestinians Youth-serving Organizations locally and internationally.
–Advocate, lobby with and for youth to influence the public policy on development issues to be more responsive to the needs of Palestinian Youths.
–Develop plans to jointly address the political, organizational and financial challenges facing youth service providers.
–Empower, support and build the capacity of youth organizations.
–Manage information to improve the role of non-profit sector to contribute in youth development.
–Strengthen youth efforts and enhance youth involvement in decision-making to become actively integrated into the physical, economic and social development
–Facilitate exchange of information and sharing of experiences among youth organizations and other partners.
–Promote the concept of culture, peace, volunteerism and participative work.

1. Relief International-School on Line in Palestine is a branch of the main office in the UK. We have 8 field staff, one financial officer, one administrative officer, one program coordinator, one program officer and a Country Director. 2. We obtain our budget from donor agencies like DFID, US state department and a number of US private foundations. Out Budget in the Palestine office for the year 2006 was US$ 550,000 3. We currently have two main projects ( GCEP and the Micro Finance) and different activities including : students and teachers exchange, community development and Human Rights education) 4. Main partners: Local: Palestinian Agricultural Relief Committees, Panorama, Palestinian Youth Union. International: Skoll Foundation, the Global Catalyst and HP Foundation
Mission and Objectives

(RI) is a humanitarian non-profit agency, provides emergency relief, rehabilitation, development assistance, and program services to vulnerable communities. RI is dedicated to reducing human suffering
(RI) Serve the needs of the most vulnerable - particularly women and children. Provide holistic, multi-sectoral, sustainable, and pro-poor programs that bridge emergency relief and long-term development at the grassroots level.
Empower communities and Promote self-reliance, peaceful coexistence, and reintegration of marginalized communities.
Protect lives from physical injury or death and/or psychological trauma where present.
Uphold the highest professional norms in program delivery, including accountability to beneficiaries and donors alike.

Main Projects / Activities

1. The Gandhi Project: to empower individuals, community, and youth who practice peaceful means of social change.
2. Palestine Education Initiative: Innovative educational initiatives to enhance (ICT) skills.
3. Global Connections and Exchange Program: The main goal is to increase global dialogue and educational opportunities. The program fosters cultural and educational ties across borders by facilitating online collaborative projects. It also provides youth, particularly girls, with the opportunity to participate as equals in a global civic education platform and to learn democratic values.
4. Micro- Finance: aims to support women in rural areas by providing them with the financial means to start small businesses. Also, the program provides women with capacity building and skills needed to be involved in the social and economic spheres.
5. Youth Social Entrepreneur Clubs: aim to involve youth in the society to create positive change and develop leadership skills.

Mission and Objectives

Our main aim is to provide support to the women and children who have been seriously affected and neglected in our local society due to the practices of the occupation.
At LCO we wish to support and assist an increase in the educational level of the children. We will encourage the creative initiatives of the youth to support a growing youth initiative and make the belief in a better future a reality.
We seek to bring peace & prosperity to the Holy Land by increasing the income & decreasing the level of unemployment in Palestinian society, by focusing on increasing the level of education and care of the children and youth sectors because investment in children is an investment in the future.
We want equal opportunity for both young disabled people and women. We spend tolerance and respect for all human beings regardless of ethnicity, gender, religion or disability.

Main Projects / Activities

In order to give the young peoples opportunities for doing something good and getting on a higher level of education at the same time, we are building a base, from where they can go further. To achieve this we try to reach the hearts of the youth by offering interesting activities. We do field trips, observing cultural and historical symbols or we just meet and paint. We have also a little library, where young kids can built up their skills in reading books.
Courses and workshops
Through our volunteers from the homeland or abroad, light training courses in many educational fields will be held to give the children a chance to expand their minds and relieve stress.

General Information
Siraj Center is stricture by having a board of Trustees that monitors all the work of the center. Siraj employs five staff two full time and three half time. Siraj is an income generating center that has never raised any money so far, rather than giving services for travelers to the Middle East by adding a small percentage of the travelers expenses for Siraj running cost. Siraj so far did not need to raise money although today is in desperate need for funding for marketing and expansion. Siraj runs three projects every year, the Palestinian Summer Celebration, The Olive Harvest and the Christmas Peace Pilgrimage. Moreover, Siraj organizes for tens of groups and individuals to come to Palestine, and enjoy its people and culture. Siraj plays a significant role in the Abraham Path Initiative in Palestine, which is the only project with external partners Siraj is part of.
Mission and Objectives

Siraj aims to create links between Palestinian people and people from around the globe through educational tourism, interfaith and ecumenical dialogue, and culture and youth exchange programs. Siraj also aims to support the Palestinian economy through the cultural travel, home stay and encouraging travelers to spend more time in the West Bank.

Main Projects / Activities

Siraj is the the Leading Palestinian organization and travel agency in organizing Hiking and Biking in Palestine. Siraj currently developing the Nativity Trails, which is a hiking trail from Nazareth to Bethlehem over 160 kilo meters by hiring local tour guides from different villages, family stay, and supporting of many women initiatives. Siraj organizes tens of tours all year long for groups who come to Palestine in fact finding trips, mission trips, pilgrimages, hiking and biking.

WATC is a coalition of women affiliated to 7 political parties, women’s organizations and centers, and established in 1992 concerned with women’s issues. There are 28 employees and around 500 volunteers. WATC implements projects in the West Bank and Gaza Strip in coordination with member women's organizations, in addition to networking with the General Union of Palestinian Woman and civil society organizations. NOT FOR PUBLISHIG: Projects expenditures for 2005 were US $ 800,000. The sources of funding for 2005 were: WLP, NED, CIDA, Konrad -Adenauer- Stiftung, Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, Diakonia, DED, The Representative Office of Norway to the Palestinian Authority, NPA, and community contributions. Mission and Objectives

WATC aims to eliminate all forms of discrimination against women, to develop their role in society, and to enable them to reach decision-making positions.
Objectives:
1. Develop the capacity of women member organizations with grass roots and activate their role in the process of community change.
2. Improve the level of coordination and networking with the civil society organizations to gain more support for women’s issues.
3. Monitoring legislation, laws, policies and programmes for elimination of gender discrimination, and ensure the protection of women's rights.
4. Develop women's skills and competencies to reach decision-making levels.
5. Identifying and nurturing talented women and support their initiatives
6. Promoting social awareness on women’s issues and rights, and erasing stereotypes about women's roles in society.
