It is the scientific department of THE FISKARDO's NAUTICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL CLUB (fnec) which is a non-profit making institute, established on the island of Kephalonia in the Ionian Sea, Greece.. two full time staff and 4 partial time staff. The club has 6 all year round volunteers and the number is increased to 20-30 during the summer months. The club receives in the summer months international volunteers from all over the world. No paid stuff available. Budget: Approximately 70.000 euro per year Sources of founding : Memberships – Donations – commercial activities – EC funding European Voluntary Service , Youth Music Festival – Researches on endangered especies

ISRC & FNEC is a recognised member / accredited member of the following superstructures: GENERAL SECRETARIAT FOR CIVIL PROTECTION - ACCREDITED VOLUNTARY TEAMS OFFERING SOCIAL SERVICES - GENERAL SECRETARIAT FOR ATHLETICS- GENERAL SECRETARIAT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL RESEARCHES - INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR SAFETY AND SURVIVAL AT SEA - SEA RESCUE VOLUNTARY TEAM – MEMBER OF THE KEFALONIAN COORDINATING COMMITTEE The main activities of fnec are: Provide an informal environmental information centre - Promote environmental awareness -Promote conservation and environmental activities -Provide ambulance services and search and rescue services both on land and at sea - Encourage Youth exchanges between young people within the EU for the benefit of community development -Conduct marine research -Record marine mammal sightings -Promote marine conservation -FNEC is operated exclusively by volunteers including the members of the club and the board of committee. FNEC doesn’t have paid members or employs.

Mission and Objectives

Full house promotion is a project for the development of artists through reinforcement of their professional career and attempts at international visibility and exposure. Partnerships on local and international level will occur according to the needs of each project.
FHP aims at filling the gaps of Greek cultural policy through disseminating of information, promotion, educational programs, development possibilities and communication in all the activities involving contemporary arts.
FHP aims at creating opportunities for the younger generations
of artists with fresh ideas and an international focus.

Main Projects / Activities

Full house promotion aims at the professional development of Greek contemporary arts through international collaborations and projects. Its activities include:
a) organizing of workshops, training classes, exchanges and residencies
b) organization of events and international festivals
c) services in promotion and communication on national and international level.
One of its main project is curating and organizing the Balkan Dance Platform, a biannual festival for young artists from the Balkan region, that attracts a large number of international visitors.

General Information
WADI is a German-Austrian nongovernmental and registered non-profit charity organisation. In its organisational structure, WADI follows the demand of in-house-democracy by transferring responsibilities to and chairing responsibility with various partners (local organisations, community activists, local staff). WADI trains and empowers its local staff to work independently and to interact with local NGO networks and community based organizations. WADI receives funding from various German and international partners, like UNICEF, WFP, USAID, Weltgebetstag der Frauen (World Women Prayer Day - Germany), Rosello Foundation, and many more, referring to concrete projects.
Mission and Objectives

Promoting human rights and supporting the democratic reconstruction of Iraq belong to the main goals of WADI. WADI strives to combat violence against women and struggles to improve the social and economic status of women in the Middle East.Therefore the organization is working with local women, has established centers to help women, dispersed mobile teams to deal with women’s health, and initiated literacy campaigns. WADI also supports marginalized groups, such as prisoners and Internally displaced people (IDP's) . Additionally WADI’s programs aim to encourage and to empower local NGOs, democratic organizations and women's networks.

Main Projects / Activities

In the beginning of the 1990s, WADI supported reconstruction and resettlement programs for displaced people in Northern Iraq as well as emergency programs. Since 1995, WADI has mainly supported long-term projects.With the help of WADI shelters for Women in Distress were established in Suleymaniah, Arbil and Mosul. Focusing on long-term empowerment of women and democratic reconstruction of Iraq , WADI supports several independent women centers in Halabja, Hauraman and the Garmyan region. Since 2003, WADI is campaigning against Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) in Northern Iraq. In 2005, WADI has helped to launch a free community radio station in Northern Iraq.

The Associazione CortecciaMotoria is a cultural association, set up in 2000, which has now about 20 associated persons. It hasn't employed people, but basically counts on its associated people to run out the activities and to assure the budgetary resources. Sawa is a leading Palestinian organization dedicated to providing support, protection and social counseling for survivors of violence. Sexual, gender-based   and domestic violence against women and children remains widespread  in Palestine. Together with our partners, Sawa combats violence against women and children in Palestinian society.  Established in 1998 by a small but determined group of female volunteers, Sawa has  grown into a mainstream non-governmental  organization operating a national helpline for victims of violence across the Palestinian Territories.  Our primary beneficiaries are battered and abused women and children.

General Information
1. The office of Secondary Technical and Vocational Education in Drama Greece is the Administration of seven technical-vocational schools having 140 teachers and 950 students. 2. The office doesn’t manage any money at all. 3. It is mainly funded by the Ministry of Education and Religions. 4. We have involvements in the past in the projects Leonardo and Comenius, twinnings with German, Finnish and Lithuanian schools and finally scholarships by the Scholarship Institution of the Greek Government. Psychology of young people is the seminar which took place last year. 5. Main partners are the staff of the office, the teachers of our schools and the Institutions of our Region of Technological Educational.

SCI- Catalunya was established in 1982 as an official branch of the Service Civil International network, a peace organisation with 43 branches and groups worldwide that allows us to have partners in a network that is spread in the 5 continents. SCI- Catalunya has a Technical Office composed by one director and 5 employees in charge of the areas of development projects, volunteering, training- awareness, communication and administration. Annual budget: 450.000 € approximately, with sources of funds both public and private. The public administrations that give us support are the Catalonian Government, Barcelona Municipality and the European Commission through Europe In Action Programme. The private funds come from our partners (200 approximately) and from the contribution of the volunteers that we send abroad (100 each year approximately)
Mission and Objectives

According to our statues, our mission is to promote peace and intercultural understanding.
SCI-Catalunya works with these objectives:
a) The social and voluntary work of the young people focused/directed to the social and communitarian improvement and the creation of peace alternatives.
b) The promotion and accomplishment of international voluntary workcamps.
c) The collaboration and coexistence with people of different nationality, mentality and beliefs, but with the spirit of team work.
d) All the activities that may be considered necessary for the development of the mentioned principles, such as activities in cooperation for development or conflicts resolution.
