In this year, PSCF is carrying out two projects, one of them aims to promote the environmental health conditions in Al Zarqa Area by integrating environmental health and hygiene education with infrastructure works, with a focus on women and children. It is donated by the European Commission and MAP-UK with total budget estimated of $464,086 for a 2-years duration, and 13 employees were recruited to manage it. PSCF has taken prior a approval from CARE International to carry out another project in the Middle Area of Gaza strip which aims to improve the living conditions of the physically disabled people. 7 employees will be recruited in this project.
Mission and Objectives

The mission of Palestine Save the Children Foundation (PSCF) is to enable the women and children in Palestinian refugee camps and other disadvantaged Communities in Gaza/West Bank to develop and improve their lives economically, socially, and educationally and health by working in partnership with their families and with the communities in which they live. PSCF seeks to develop skills and promote behavior that will endure, and thus ensure positive ongoing changes in the lives of Palestinian children to help them to strengthen their community, to educate their parents; and to encourage gender equality.

Ru'ya Al-Falastiniya is the only Palestinian non-governmental organization initiated, developed, and managed by youth themselves. Together with a small group of youth leaders, we established Ru’ya in 1998 in order to create positive opportunities for Palestinian youth leadership and service. Ru'ya quickly filled a social vacuum, expanding to a grassroots membership of over six hundred. It operates training workshops and community service programs that build leadership skills;identity and community spirit; provide positive channels for self-expression; empower young women; and facilitate dialogue and exchange with international youth. The mission of Ru'ya Falastiniya (Palestinian Vision) is to promote active roles for Palestinian youth in their communities. 1.Palestine Rangers: We aim through this project to educate the Palestinian youth on the ancient Palestinian cities in order to reinforce the concept of belonging for the society and place, and therefore, to be able to spread the spiritual, cultural and Arabic sense of the city and to be able to conduct programs and activities which will make a special relationship between the person and the place. The Palestinian youth will be able to reinforce the belonging to the city in its historical image to maintain it in his mind and heart. The youth will also know the city more by transforming the reality of the city culturally and historically through artistic and cultural performances. 2.Young achievements: Young achievement is an innovative, experiential and active civic education initiative for young people that aim to assist them in fulfilling their potential as active citizens in their communities

1. SHASHAT’s Annual Women’s Film Festival in Palestine: This showcases the creativity of women filmmakers and provides alternative portrayals of women. Shashat held its 1st Women Film Festival in 2005, and 2nd Women’s Film Festival in 2006.
2. Capacity Building of the Palestinian Filmmaking sector with emphasis on women filmmakers:

3. “Films for Everyone” Year-long Screening\Discussion Program:

Mission :
The Culture and Free Thought Association is a Palestinian pioneering institution which always seeks to concentrate on and further the values of civil society through implementing a set of programs and activities aimed at advancing societal awareness in all relevant fields, including the cultural, sociological, recreational, educational, health and economic fields, and through its activities and projects provide vital services to society’s children, youth and women depending on a highly-qualified and creative staff; this in addition to CFTA's trust in and reliance on the ability of the society it serves

A. Children and Teenagers Projects ,
The Association runs two children projects and one specific project for adolescents.
These Projects are :
Al Shroq Wal Amal Children Centre (Sunrise and Hope) – This center was set up in Khan Younis camp in April 1992. This centre provides children between the ages of 6-12 opportunities in education, self- awareness, creative expression through an innovative program of activities, trips and projects.
B. Youth Projects:
CFTA already running two youth projects one is the Wessal project and the second is the Youth Initiative Fund.
C. Women's Projects
The Gaza Women Credit Program This program initiated in October 1995. This is a loan program offered to women of Gaza Strip living under difficult economic circumstances.

In the main WSC office in Jerusalem, there are twelve employees. In the WSC offices in Jenin and Hebron. In addition, WSC has 2 female field coordinators working in Bethlehem and Nablus. WSC also has more than 50 volunteers. The Board of Trustees of the Women’s Studies Centre is governed by 8 Palestinian women. EuroMeSCo (Euro-Mediterranean Study Commission) is a network of institutes of independant research and of central universities focussing on analysing foreign political themes and the research in security matters . The members of the network come from the 35 members countries in Euro-Mediterranean Partnership , intiative policy of the European Union aiming to enhance its relations with the countries of the southern mediterranean river. Financed by the European Commission , the network counts currently 45 institutes members and 27 observators institues and two international associated members.
Mission and Objectives

EuroMeSCo,fonctionning as a brand of confidence , dedicated to build professional relations of sustainable cooperation with non-governmental and independent organisations .
The network seeks to establish relations between Europe , the Maghreb and the middle-east on a North-Southern basis and south-south , in order to widen the platform of the dialogue on subject of common interest .
This platform allows the discussion of essentiel themes related to the euro mediterranean region which the approach is a delicate subject at the intergovernmental scale of the PEM countries .
The network seeks to establish a common vocablury in political and security matters in the region and contributes to the definition of measurements , while proposing a mecanism by which the opinion of the civil society who could be presented to the decision makers .

EuroMeSCo undertakes a formal research , publishes regulary its results , its program of research is defined in an independent way or on specific requests of analyzes aspects of the mediterranean policy and security of the partnership or of the ministry counsil .
The principal activity of the network , is its research program .
The network , through its secretariat in Lisbon , constructed a network site who offers informations on the EuroMeSCo activities , acts as a point of contact between the institutions members for the
interested public .
The site represents the publications , the meeting , also a discussion forum and a section designate for questionnaires .
