General Information
Culture & Community is a small organization, with 5 members.Until now has performed a limited activity, supported by the local government in different cities, like Tirane, Durres, Vlore, ect..Main partners involved in our activities until now have been: Local governments, Ministri of Education, Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sport, Academy of Fine Arts, young people and young artists.
Mission and Objectives

The NGO Culture& Community was founded in the July 2006, with the aim to become an important factor which can influence the cultural development of the community, promoting new standards of living in a wide cultural context, in Albania and in region. Through different cultural and artistic activities we intend to increase awareness of the community for problems related to environment, protection and promotion of natural and cultural resources, the improvement of social position for vulnerable groups of the society. We will contribute as well, to improve and strengthen the cooperation among local and regional institutions, to exchange the best regional and local experiences and, also in the capacity building.

Main Projects / Activities

-"Beach cinema" summer 2007 - Cinema in the public space, a collection of 10 films, with current youth thematic was projected in Durres seaside, during 10 evenings.
-"In Front of" (1), summer 2008 -Exhibition of videoarts, works of young artists, Albanian and Italian, was performed in giant screen in the city promenade of Durres.
-"In Front of"(2), the same concept was performed in the city promenade of Vlora, summer 2008
-"All different, all special", winter 2009, a project which involved young people from all the high school of Tirana. Each group was directed by an young artist-student of Academy of Arts in creating a conceptual Christmas tree, using recycled materials. These "Trees" used to decorate the center of Tirana these year.

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

Being member of ALF network we can contribute with our ideas, projects which includes other members of ALF, exchanging the best experiences and being open for any cooperation which can contribute the our commune purpose: Building a better world for us and especially for our children.

Why do you want to join the ALF Network?

Because, until now, we have developed our activities only with the support of local government funds. In this moment we are willingly to be more active in the fulfilling of our mission. Being aware of the great importance of ALF network in supporting organizations with projects, ideas and in promoting fruitful cooperations, we are very confident that ALF network will give the necessary incentives to our organization in incoming activity for the benefit of the community

General Information
Executive Director and board of management are the two bodies of the CDI. CDI has 3 internal staff units and several external collaborators. Budgetary resources are depending on the projects portofolio awarded, which also constitute the main budget origin. CDI partners are international institutions such as World Bank, United Nations Programmes, European Union, Soros Foundation, College of Europe, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, Albanian Government, local authorities and albanian NGO-s, etc.
Mission and Objectives

Since its creation in March 15, 2000, CDI has been focused on socio-economic and public administrative development issues affecting Albanian path towards market economy in a democratic society.
CDI has produced economic & business environment assessments, sector-specific policy analysis, strategic research for business actors, has provided its expertise to third parties in building partnerships, provided consulting and advisory services, project design and implementation.
CDI has also a department focused on back-office and human resources through services in secretariat and network management, as well as training and capacity building.CDI activities are focussed on local development, private sector development, social policies and health sector.
A very important component of CDI work is the regional angle of policy implementation especially in the South Eastern Europe, and the cross-border impact and effectiveness of its activities.

Tirana Ekspres is a non-profit organization made of a group of professionals, artists and promoters whose purpose is to create and organize events related to the promotion of art, culture and a sustainable development of tourism and environment. Our goal is to engage as many people as we can in pursuing the good work of leveraging the potential of art by creating and organizing good quality events.

Tirana Ekspres aims at creating social and cultural structures to improve the quality of life of communities in Albania. We aim at promoting the expansion of international cultures through immersion in the social life. We believe that cultural exchange contributes to mutual understanding between societies and peoples. Understanding other cultures can prevent prejudice and hate. Cultural exchange also enriches our own lives by inspiring new forms of artistic expression and providing fresh insights that broaden our horizons.

Peshkopia Youth Center is a nonprofit ,NGO youth organization. This local organization was created in 2011 to serve at local youth interest and education . General Information
Organic Agriculture Association is NGO. The highest decision making is the General Meeting of members (more than 100 members), which elects the Board and the executive director appointed by the board.Minimum staff is 2 full time people, which in some years has been up to 8 people. There are many part time experts that quite often collaborate with OAA. Budget per year varies from 30.000 euro - 200.000 euro. The main source of funds are coming from projects through applications. OAA is very much focused on demonstration of sustainable models, promotions, conferences, lobbing. Main partners are organisations dealing with activities that have central part environmental protection and sustainable development.
Mission and Objectives

OAA contributes for sustainable development in the country, particularly in rural areas.
Objectives are:
-Making known and promoting principles, ideas and advantages of sustainable agriculture and environmental protection, through publications, media, training, workshops, etc.
- Assisting members and interested groups by training courses, workshops, conferences, publications, study tours, etc.
- Assisting the Government and other institutions in the formulation of the laws of legislature, agriculture policies and generally in the development of the rural areas based on the principles and practices of the sustainable development.

Organization is founded on 2001, as local NGO, acting locally, thinking globally and working socially on human rights education, democratization and participation of young people in local governance and decision making.
