How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

Israel is an ideal place for shooting films; it has versatile locations great weather, and a strong film industry.
As a film production company, we can offer our production services and facilities to any project that attends to be shot or produced in Israel. We can be a true partner for co-productions and different visual art projects that connect between the different countries of the ALF.

Why do you want to join the ALF Network?

We believe that in order to make films that inspire and reach the audience, you have to go international.
Israel has great talents; Script writers and directors, but the film market here is small. Strong corporations with European and other Middle Eastern countries will lead to better distribution of the films and will make them an international success.
We hope that through the AFL we can find partners that have the same purpose, even partners that haven't worked with Israel before in the film industry.
Not only that – Since Israel is a country that brings together people from all over the world: Morocco, Russia, Ethiopia, Poland, Egypt and many more, the stories that are being told here are diverse and a lot of them deal with multi-culture issues and the connection between the life of people here and their roots in other countries.
As a production company, these are the stories that we choose to tell, and those stories sit along with the ALF purposes and goals.
We see it as a great opportunity to open the door for a connection with partners from all over the world.

WIIS Israel is dedicated to increasing the influence of women in the fields of foreign and defense affairs in Israel and the greater Middle East by raising their numbers and increasing awareness about international security issues and women’s rights. WIIS Israel seeks this through two avenues, the first being our programming, mentorship programs, training programs, networking between women and the second avenue in through our research. The research aspect of WIIS Israel is to rather relevant information on women in the field of security to help increase the influence of the field including major research on women's influence in the peace process, the perception of women in the field and how it can aid the peace process, the influence of women in conflict zones and post-conflict reconstruction among others.

Main Projects / Activities

Mentor Program:
This incredible opportunity allows students and entry-level women in the field to connect with successful women in the Israeli military, government, universities and research institutes. These professional women will provide career advice and as well as personal encouragement to women aspiring to grow and develop in their professional goals and aspirations. These mentors are for life, and are matched with individuals according to the individual’s specific career interests.
Education Program:
WIIS Israel is partnering with the top universities in Israel to hold monthly lectures on campuses across the country. Participating universities include Bar-Ilan University, Haifa University, Hebrew University, Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya and Tel Aviv University. The lectures include a broad spectrum of topics including security and conflict resolution as well as practical workshops such as CV building and interviewing skills.
Mid-Level Training Program
For women who are already in security positions but striving to reach higher, WIIS Israel offers training seminars held at different ministries to help women to achieve leadership within their current roles and places of work.
Job Listings:
A list of current job openings around the country is provided on the website to members who have registered and received a user name and pass word. This list will also include updates about coming events related to security issues.

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

WIIS Israel is open to working with organizations in the Israeli network as openly as possible. Women in security in Israel also play a pivotal role in mutual understanding in the whole region. The increased influence of women in the sector of security, which plays a vital role in the political agenda of Israel, can help to promote cultural dialogue and improve the situation in Israel drastically.
