General Information
C.S.I. Comitato provinciale di Modena has three full time employees and many external helpers and volunteers who work together in order to implement all the different activities. The own budgetary resources available in a year are always around 100.000,00€ and the rest of the needed funds are collected through external sources such as grants, bank foundations and sponsors. C.S.I. Comitato provinciale di modena does not only work in the field of sports but carries out many different educational projects in the fields of environment, schools, social work and integration, international and intercultural dialogue, support to women groups, support to immigrants, exchanges with Israel and Brasil, training for trainers. The main partners involved in the organization activities are Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Modena, Banca Popolare dell'Emilia Romagna, Municipality of Modena, Province of Modena.
Mission and Objectives

C.S.I Comitato Provinciale di Modena is a sports association with a long experience in working with youth. It's main objective is not only the fostering of sport practice but also sport education in general as far as the true pure values of sport are concerned such as fair play, dialogue, team work, communication, with a transfer in real life.

Villaggio dello Sport: a week of sport festival in the city of Modena addressed to youth from the age of 6 to the age 14.
La Maratona della Pace: peace marathon that takes place every year in Israel
Youth Centre in Ain Arik: collaboration and support to a youth centre in Ain Arik (Palestine)

Songschool Ltd. is a private company which has been committed to delivering quality music education services and experiences throughout Ireland since 2001. What started as a small talk to a local transition year (TY) class has now expanded into the largest provider of music workshops to secondary schools in the land - in the last two years we have delivered almost 300 workshops in 28 counties around Ireland.

Mission and Objectives

Songschool’s mission is to provide top quality workshops and projects in a variety of music and digital multi media related fields to people of all ages and musical ability. We are committed to delivering excellent and rewarding music education experiences, with an emphasis on creative expression, collaboration and enjoyment.

Main Projects / Activities

Over the past number of years, Songschool has grown and now also specialises in delivering unique and customised music education projects for various other groups, local authorities and bodies; one such example being the cross border (Northern Ireland) Shankill/Shankill Music Project which received the Co-operation Ireland Highly Commended Project of the Year Award in 2002. Songschool delivered the world’s first Percentage for Arts Music Project in Milltown, Co. Kerry in May 2005 with Iain Archer (Ivor Novello Winner) and during 2007, the Skerries Community Intergenerational Project. Songschool’s transnational projects to date include a music workshop in Charleville, Western Queensland, conducted with students from the Distance Education Centre (a.k.a School of the Air), and an original intercultural arts project, An Sorcas Ceoil, delivered in Bad Friedenwielde Germany in conjunction with government agency Rural Dublin Leader Company. Currently Songschool are facilitating a transnational project between students from Rush Co Dublin and El Prat De Llobregat, Barcelona, Spain.

Louise Køster is the owner and executive producer of Pausefilm. Her primary focus is on the financing of the documentary projects. She has a close contact with the broadcasters, the large funding companies and other financial partners. Louise has a background from public service television, and has worked in that area as a program maker, host, producer and executive producer for the last 20 years. Anna-Maria Kantarius is the company’s main producer. Anna-Maria has a master degree in film production from the National Film School of Denmark. Anna-Maria has worked with documentary and fiction films for the last 10 years in Europe. Her primary focus is the close contact with the directors, and the development of new projects. Cristina Signorelli is the company’s production manager. Cristina has worked in production and film management for the last 20 years. She has extensive experience in prodction of feature films, both documentary and fiction. Cristina also holds an International Coach Fedration degree. Her primary focus is on the management of the production and the contact with the productions crew.

The mission of the National Trust of Slovakia is to secure permanent protection and sustainable use of historic environment - heritage sites, objects of great values, and sites of natural beauty for the benefit of Slovakia and its people. IKV was founded in 1965 by Istanbul Chamber of Commerce and Istanbul Chamber of Industry. IKV consists of 10 researchers specialised in EU acquis chapters. Mission and Objectives

-improving the legislation in the field of cinema,
-providing support systems for documentaries,
-creating a documentary audience,
-supporting Turkish documentary films to be screened in TV channels,
-including TV channels in production and support processes,
-encouraging cinema students to determine documentary filmmaking as a professional career,
-integrating Turkish documentary market with international market
-creating a documentary film market in the long term.
-presenting different cultures, social, historical and political facts of different countries and therefore to support the tolerance between cultures.

Main Projects / Activities

Besides documentary screenings following activities would be organized:
Special sections: special sections will be focus on one subjest and/or coutry documenatries
Production workshop: Present the basic information on production and co-production in the Mediterranean basin.
DVD library: DVD library includes all documentary films submitted to the festival. Besides professionals, DVD library is available for the individual screenings for the audience.
Panel meetings: Panel meetings is organized in order to provide deep information on the issues that combines life and documentary films. Professionals, academicians, researchers, film critics will be invited as spokesmen.
Technical workshop: Festival will host a technical workshop every year in order to provide technical knowledge about different technical stages of documentary filmmaking.
