Foundation - Center for Contemporary Arts is non-profit cultural organization which support all kinds of contemporary arts and stimulate their creation and presentation. The foundation helps by the educational programs, grant programs, exhibitions, documentation and publication activity to improve and strengthen Slovak cultural sector.

The civic Association Academia Istropolitana Nova was established in 1996. The bodies of association are: General Assembly, Board of Trustees, Secretariat, Executive Director. Since the establishment of the civic association, Academia Istropolitana Nova has been looking for possible financial resources which could help in the educational, training and research activities. AINova started its activities with kind support from the Ford Foundation, A. W. Mellon Foundation, Open Society Foundation and the Austrian government. However, additional financial resources were needed as AINova has further developed its activities. . The Institution owns its own premises. Mission and Objectives

Mission AINova is an idependent non-governmental organization on life-long learning. Since its establishment in 1996 AINova has festered an international dimension of education and research through networking and communication. AINova concentrates on activities aiming at raising the competitiveness of Slovak Republic and helping Slovakia to meet the challenges of entry into EU specifically by capacity building and human resources development.
AINova supports, provides, organizes and co-ordinates both short –term and long-term professionally oriented educational programs for participants from the state sector, public sector and groups of professionals.
AINova has a database of Slovak and foreign experts who either teach at their programs or provide consultations.
Applied research is being developed at AINova. The activities of the information centre include expertise on relevant areas AINova is covering.

Main Projects / Activities

AINova coordinated or became a partner in many international projects. Within these, the profile of the institution was broadened from specialized educational programs – to life-long learning or continuing education, consultation services and applied research for the benefit of regional development. Strong partnerships within each department were established and
AINova is involved in all types of projects introducing new methods or topics of interest for potential development. AINova participates mostly in projects related to capacity building of the civil society and supporting of SMEs by providing relevant new information and human resource development. It assists local governments in communication with partners to create mutual understanding, it detects problems and helps find solutions at home or those based on international experience. And finally AINova is preparing individuals from the private, as well as from the public sector for changes related to joining the European Union

Laboratorio Creactiva is a woman association, two of us are actively working in the frame of EU Programmes, especially Lifelong Learning Programme and Youth in Action one. We have been participating in Leonardo Partnership projects for the improvement of the qualifications in social field through the art therapy methodologies and in a Grundtvig Partnership in order to integrate senior people and fostering family traditions. Like women association we raise public awareness especially amongst women and decision makers on gender gaps, issues, development needs as well as advocate and lobby for women’s empowerment, to collect and disseminate information of relevance and use for women’s empowerment, to provide a focal point for addressing gender issues at national, sub-regional and International level. Our main target are young people, we particularly support them providing educational, cultural, scientific and informational exchanges between Spanish young people and other countries. We have partners from all EU and south eastern countries.
Mission and Objectives

Main objectives of LaboratorioCreActiva:
- Promote the Artistic and Cultural Heritage of Andalusia, working with tourism sector in Andalusia, drawing the linkage between culture and tourism as an opportunity for excellence to enrich the cultural and artistic life, in order to create an attractive offer that is capable of generating interest in their knowledge and enjoyment of locals and visitors, and to promote exchange of experiences, ideas, knowledge and inspiration.
- Promote cooperation and cultural exchange between the Association and any other associations, public administrations, institutions and local organizations.
- Study and research on society from an interdisciplinary and intercultural perspective.
- Promote social inclusion and employment of social groups excluded by their origin, ethnicity, culture or religion, providing support to any person or group (children, youth, women, elderly, disabled people ...) who need it.
- Collaborate to improve existing cultural facilities and establish new ones (libraries, archives, museums, cinemas, dance studios, concert halls and theatre), and to promote exchange of experiences, ideas, knowledge and inspiration.
- Promote cooperation and cultural exchange between the Association and any other cultural associations, governments, institutions and partner organizations, as well as domestic and foreign.
- Promote respect for the environment.
- Prevent the depopulation of rural areas.
- Promoting active and responsible citizenship.
- Promote equal opportunities between men and women.
- Promoting the participation and presence of women in political, economic, cultural and social fields.
- Supporting young people to participate actively in the life of society, and promote active citizenship.

a. Education and Training, through courses, seminars and conferences for partners / as, volunteers and citizens in general.
b. Organize cultural activities aimed at further development and dissemination of culture of Andalusia. `
c. Organize all kinds of cultural and artistic events, including exhibitions, conferences, workshops, courses and workshops, concerts, travel, trips, festivals, studios and competitions.
d. Awareness of society about social issues.
e. Development projects which implement the European Union directives.
f. Networking, with other institutions and agencies, both public and private.

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

We can share our experience about youngsters in our contexts as well as the good practices we have concrete during our work with migrants, women and senior people, especially through the use of the arts and the informal education.

Why do you want to join the ALF Network?

Because we have already been joining other EU programs and we want to focus our job to promote cooperation and cultural exchange between the Association and any other cultural associations, governments, institutions and partner organizations, as well as domestic and foreign.
ALF Network is a great possibility to spread our knowledge and acquire new competences though the exchange of good practices and experiences.

Mission and Objectives

To examine the most urgent issues in contemporary culture, the production of cultural events and the emergent manners of producing culture (free/libre culture, OpenSource licences, the possibilities and problematics in the free circulation of cultural artefacts), combined with the classical, common-sense, and popular dimension of culture (seminars, workshops, concerts, cinema events). Eventually, we try to create collective awareness and develop concrete values on actual cultural production, both material and non-material, both traditional and modern, and make visible the common denominators between them.

Linguamón - House of Languages is an organisation created by the Government of Catalonia. 1. There are eight members in the team. 2. Our budget for 2006 is 2.400.000 euros. 3. Linguamón - House of Languages is an organisation created by the Generalitat de Catalunya (Government of Catalonia) with the aim of promoting the world’s languages as a vehicle for communication, civilisation and dialogue; source of personal development, human creativity and heritage of mankind , and right of individuals and of linguistic communities.

• To promote the preservation, use, recognition and learning of languages around the world, in such a way that these are not endangered by social and economic progress, and, as a result, working towards Linguistic Sustainability.

Cidalia, Diversity Consultancy, is comprised of a diverse and multidisciplinary team. The diverse national origins of our team, gender, age, and academic background allow us to offerour services to several national and international organizations and work in five languages (Spanish, French, English; Portuguese and Italian). We are five people working in Cidalia, with different Social Science academic records specialized in migration phenomena, equality, diversity and social development. Our main sources of funding are public bodies. Some of our current clients include: Ministry of labour and Immigration(Spain), Migrant National Secretary (SENAMI), Ecuador; City Councils of Madrid, Vigo, Santa Cruz de Tenerife; Social Organizations (associations,trade unions); training centers and Business School. CODESPA's team comprises,all the staff are distributed among our more than 100 professionals and volunteers. Headquarters, six national offices and nine international delegations. Budget executed in a year: 15-18 euro million. Sources of Funding: 90% public and 10% private. Modalities of action:Training: We make possible the access to education and the training for employment. Microcredit: we offer small loans to people who cannot access the traditional banking system due to their situation of exclusion. Comercialization: we make possible the access to markets to small producers.What is the point in helping a peasant producing more of he/she cannot or does not know how to sell the products. CODESPA have 80 partner in the world.

Main Projects / Activities

Codespa carries out projects of cooperation and development and of innovation and social investigation. One of the area of our projects is linked to the migrations in Spain. We carry out projects in migratory flows transmitters countries(Morroco and Latin American) and actions of education and sensilización in Spain. In Spain we fortify migration associations in themes of integration and diversity related to the development of its zones of origin.
