CeRCCa’s AIR Program responds to the aim of challenging conventional formats. By conventional formats we understand the AIRs that offer a space isolated from its sociocultural context that potentiate individual artistic production of aesthetic objects. We believe that the experience of living and creating in a different context has to be facilitated through exchange and collaboration. This experience takes place both in the practices of art and research and also out side of these discourses; that is, in everyday life. With this objective CeRCCa proposes a residency format where dialogue and interaction become essential.
The characteristics of CeRCCa AIR Program are:
- Each year CeRCCa organizes 3 to 4 AIR Programs that last for approximately 2 months. For each residency 3 to 4 artists are selected. CeRCCa offers individual bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, two 40 2m shared studios, a library as well as a big living-room/kitchen area and a patio.
- In order to facilitate the mutual knowledge both from the different creative perspectives of the artists and the different realities of Llorenç del Penedes, during the first week of the residency, CeRCCa organizes work presentations by the artists and the organizers of the program.
- Depending on the necessities of each artist, the organizers bridge the gap between the artists, researchers and the different associations of the village.
- CeRCCa also facilitates a series of cultural visits to regional and national organizations as well as to different artistic production centres of Catalonia. These activities can be accompanied by guided tours and informal meetings with different cultural agents.
- The residency also promotes the participation in workshops, local festivals and events.
- At the end of each residency, CeRCCa organises a public presentation of the work that the artists and researchers have developed. These public presentations can take the format of open studios or exhibition at the local art gallery or the Cultural Centre of the village. Depending on the circumstances an exhibition can also take place in a gallery or cultural space of the region or in Barcelona.
- At the end of each residency and with the agreement of the resident artists and researchers, CeRCCa proposes a short video interview with each resident aiming to document his/her experience at CeRCCa.

Les Yeux de la Mouche supporte actuellement le projet de webdocumentaire de Carole Filiu : Fatea (Femmes au travail en Algérie). Ce dernier consiste en neuf portraits de femmes sur l'ensemble du territoire algérien et devrait être diffusé à l'automne 2012 sur le site internet de TV5 Monde. Carole Filiu et Ferhat Mouhali portent également le projet d'un documentaire sur les femmes "révoltées" de Tunisie, Lybie et Egypte. Ils devraient partir en voyage de repérages à partir de novembre puis en effectuer le tournage au printemps 2013.

Exemple concrets :
- Le projet de création 2013 « Bonheur Voyage » est un spectacle mixant des disciplines des arts vivants (thématique : déplacements forcés, déracinement, mémoire, origine…) une quinzaine de représentations prévue à ce jour.
- Le Groupe Jeune Théâtre Intercommunal réunit - dans un même projet de recherche et de réalisations sur le monde contemporain - des jeunes issus de villages et de cités (existe depuis 4 ans et a 2 créations à son actif)
- Le voleur transfiguré (Editions L’Harmattan) oppose, dans une dialectique dramatique, les thèmes de la délinquance du père, la filiation et l’ascension par tous les moyens au faîte du pouvoir ; représentations aussi bien dans les grandes villes que dans les quartiers dit « sensibles »

Initiatives et changement offre quatre programmes (deux en France, deux à l’étranger) : 1 - "Initiative Dialogue" vise à créer des liens de confiance entre des personnes de cultures différentes dans le respect de l'identité de chacun (à travers des espaces de dialogue citoyens et des évènements publics ouverts à tous).  Projet 2012/13 : création d’espaces de dialogue et mise en place d’ateliers pour les animateurs et bénévoles des structures sociales de Belleville (en partenariat avec des associations du quartier). 2 - "Education à la Paix" permet aux enfants et aux jeunes de développer des compétences sociales afin de mieux vivre ensemble et de s'engager comme citoyen.  Projet 2012/13 : mise en place d’un projet pilote de l’UNESCO en matière d’éducation à la Citoyenneté globale dans une école primaire et un centre de loisirs parisiens (en partenariat avec le Centre ressources central citoyenneté). 3 - "Afrique-Méditerranée" accompagne le processus de paix dans trois pays de la région des grands lacs africains (Burundi, Rwanda, République démocratique du Congo) ainsi que les acteurs du printemps arabe en Tunisie. 4 - "Dialogue entre agriculteurs " vise à développer des réseaux d’agriculteurs autour d’une réflexion à propos du rôle économique, social et environnemental des agriculteurs.

Former un réseau en Tunisie de référents plateforme, accompagnés et formés pour alimenter les dynamiques locales (liens structurants sur territoires avec acteurs de coopération décentralisée)

Main projects: Citizen Participation in Energy Efficiency Action Planning – CENEP – The objective is to support the development of structured dialogue and formalised counselling between Croatian civil society organisations and public authorities in development, monitoring and evaluation of the national policies in the field of energy efficiency. Promoting and Testing Soft Measures for Energy Saving in Croatia - ENCRO – The project aims to increase citizens’ awareness and knowledge on energy efficiency and energy saving measures. Renewable Energy Policies Advocacy and Monitoring – REPAM – The main objective of the project is to strengthen the capacity of CSOs and concerned public to participate in decision-making in the field of renewable energy sources. Public Dialogue on the Sustainable Use of Energy in South-East Europe - the aim is to initiate capacity building and the public dialogue about the sustainable use of energy with primary focus on energy efficiency, between the members of parliaments and key stakeholders.

Interested Academy student activities and future families of different kinds because of their great importance in the educational process and their direct impact on student behavior. The Student Union under the supervision of the Youth Welfare oversees all student activities at the Academy as follows:
 
Social activities:
Social activities within the academy received significant interest and through many events, including the celebration of an orphan within the academy, as well as the many contributions in social services such as blood donation campaigns and donate to Cancer Hospital and the Institute of Nasser.
In the area of ​​social solidarity by the Youth Welfare Office exchange subsidies from the social solidarity fund for students who can not, and provide students who are unable Office textbooks and references that will help them recall.
 
Sports activities:
The Academy works to encourage students and employees to exercise care and superior elements of them through the provision of grants.
Students also participate in sports competitions organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and like that of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports.
 
Cultural Activities:
Interested academic sponsored cultural activities in line with the philosophy and mission of cultural activity includes the establishment of religious conferences and seminars and cultural, sports, social work, lectures and periodic magazines and newspapers and magazines wall.
 
Recreational activities:
Mobile team has several activities of the Academy during the competitions and festivals Scout of the Ministry of Higher Education and Air Scouts Association in Cairo. And also scouting trips and camps entertainment in the summer and traveling abroad.
 
Flights:
Academy is keen to support recreational activities and encourage and work on organizing trips of all kinds. And strengthening the ties between family members of students and academic faculty members and staff.
 
Concerts:
Interested academic side entertainment and organizing concerts and entertainment throughout the year, including a reception of new students, where students union is organized in collaboration of members of the faculty and staff a reception for new students at the beginning of the school year. The Academy also maintains graduation ceremonies to honor the early batches different disciplines Academy.
 
Artistic activity:
The Academy works to discover and encourage artistic talent in all areas and art fairs and plays.

PROGRAM AREAS
I The rule of law
CA believes that the rule of law is not only formal implementation of rights, but also the rule of justice and protection of all citizens from excessive power of authorities and inefficiency of the system.
Through this program, CA conducts the control of work of courts and other public institutions and it also works on education of decision makers and leaders. CA insists on professional and efficient system of justice, and better quality of work of public services, especially in the area of health services and education.
Education of politicians, NGO and trade union leaders, and journalists as well, on standards and the best practice in this area, is in focus.
II Human rights
Human rights program includes monitoring of quality of implementation of laws, and monitoring, researching and documenting of human rights violations, their processing, and representation of victims before competent courts and public bodies.
Human rights program is focused on facing past, problems of torture and discrimination, politically motivated violence, freedom of expression, freedom of gathering, protection of personal data, religious freedoms, minority rights, status of displaced persons, economic and social rights.
Specific goal of CA is provision of support to other organizations with the similar mission.
III Media program
Media program performs constant public representation and initiates issues on cases of corruption, inefficient administration and human rights violation. Monitoring of social processes, criticizing on anomalies, and publishing of reports on human rights violation via media, is the most efficient manner of conducting the mission of the organization. School of investigative journalism, open competitions for the best investigative stories create solid group of cooperators and inexhaustible source of information from the terrain.
Cross-border cooperation with the media productions is directed towards reconciliation, conjoined life and issues of economic and social character is one of the goals contributing to accelerating integration processes in the region.
IV Civil Society
Responsible and highly aware citizens that are actively participating in the communities and society development are the foundation for development of democratic and just society. CA believes that civic activism is key component for community development and that it represents control mechanism that advances the performance of institutions. Citizens’ participation in decision making, development and everyday life of community is necessary for development of healthy society.
CA therefore sees as its primary tasks the strengthening of civic awareness, as well as informing of citizens and supporting civic initiatives and civic organizations that share the same values.
V Public policies
In the frame of the Public policies program area shall be performed analysis of data and problems identified through the work in other program areas, and their placing in the context of system problems, failures, and deficiencies. The final result provides formulating adequate solutions and their public presentation and representation.
With the aim of networking all CA activities, the area of Public policies shall provide strategic support to all remaining activities, by collecting and analyzing important data aiming at better quality of public representation in individual cases.

Project Al-Karmel Club
2016 - 2018 was the most recent project period. It was concluded and an application for continuation of the project has been sent to Forum Syd. It is a development project with a focus on Gender and the Environment. Over the years, the project has worked with five target groups - Women - Preschool - Youth - Disabled - Men.

The preschool had a maximum of 105 children enrolled. The children are 4 and 5 years old. At the age of 6, they start school. The preschool children learn the numbers and to read simple words in Arabic and English. The creative games are important. The well-trained staff sees each student and gives them the support they need. The parents regularly attend meetings with the staff and have received training in nutrition. The children's health has improved. Yogurt and fruit are served to the children.

Fadderverksamhet/Sponsorship
The war in Gaza has claimed many lives and made many children orphans. Children who have lost their breadwinner and role model are particularly vulnerable. The Swedish Palestine Committee started a sponsorship activity in Gaza.
