General Information
The Arezzo Province has 485 employees, with a total annual balance of 146.282.636,83 Euros. INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION With reference to the International Cooperation, the total annual resources are about 100.000 Euros. Last year the Arezzo Province took part in a lot of successful projects, having the leadership of a local cooperation committee and being in contact with several countries by exchanging and transferring experiences. Arezzo is a member of Latin Arch and of the European Networks ENSDL and EUROIDEES. It collaborates with UCODEP ( which is an ONLUS organization- association aimed at the unit and the cooperation for the development of people- ); the association “ Rondine città della Pace” ( an international association aimed at the international peace).
Mission and Objectives

The general mission is the territorial control and the management ; every single department has its own aims related to the specific fields and skills.
With reference to the international cooperation, these are the main purposes:
1) an equal standard with both near and faraway countries,
2) increase the knowledge standards and levels, collaboration and solidarity among people.

Main Projects / Activities

Arezzo Province took part in a lot of project, with both local and foreign institutions. The most important are:
1) projects aimed to transfer rural development experiences in local communities;
2) projects with Santo Domingo Republic; Bosnia Erzegovina; Balkans; Israel; Palestine;
3) project aimed to build a nursery school in Brazil ( Caceres)
4) the partnership in the URBAL project “ sharing balance”
5) partnership in the project LA PLATA ( study group with Argentina)
6) project of cooperation for the ground defence with the Santo Domingo Republic

Mission and Objectives

The Peace Games mission consists of using sport as a social-educational mean, as a tool of integration and as a vehicle for communication and socialization in conflicting contexts, by implementing sport activities in favour of weak people such as mental and physical disabled, elderly people, children and above all youth.
In collaboration with the local partners, Peace Games implements training courses addressed to sport and social operators, educators, teachers, provides for the equipment and rehabilitation of sport fields and education centres and, in emergency situations, the distribution of essential relief items too

General Information
The Center for Studies Segnali Mediterranei is a non-profit cultural association, founded in 2007 and supported by a scientific and technical committee. Till today all the activities of the association where based on private self financing. The Centre for Studies foresees partnerships with public bodies such as the European Community and Ministry of culture, training bodies such as Universities, and private parties. The association is applying for many different programs at regional and national level, mainly within the issue of the preservation of linguistic minorities.
Mission and Objectives

The mission of the Association is to promote and preserve Mediterranean Traditions. It is committed to investing in human and social capital for the benefit of all Mediterranean communnities. It works to fund innovative social research with practical implications, to develop and fund new scholarships that promote the preservation of heritage and tradition, and to promote the collaborative and inclusive involvement of citizens in decision-making and community building. Thematic focuses are incentered on Linguistic Minorities, Press Editing, Immigration, Television broadcasting, Training.

Main Projects / Activities

Social activities are aimed at the dissemination of Mediterranean traditions and heritage with a particular focus on Calabrian Arbresche communities. The activities of the association have mainly concerned until today the production of documentaries, short films and DVDs on the traditions and customs of the Albanian community in Calabria. On quarterly basis the association publishes a cultural magazine supporting the SM TV channel, which promotes the activities of the Centre of Studies within the hinterland of Lamezia Terme. Attention is also placed on issues of social relevance (violence to children, integration of disadvantaged people and ethnic minorities, etc.), in the aim to raise public awareness through an intensive educational work.

General Information
The Istituto Storico della Resistenza e dell'età contemporanea "Mario Morbiducci", established in 1949 after the Liberation, has 9 employed people. In 2009, the Institute was provided itself with a Gender Observatory. Annalisa Cegna, Claudia Santoni, Natascia Mattucci and Loredana Guerrieri have a share in the Gender Observatory. This Observatory has the aim to promote a gender culture beginning from local territories using research, training and consultancy interventions. The aims of the Observatory are: the discovery of the women history and memoirs; the promotion of scientific and cultural enterprises (conferences, workshops) about gender subjects; the periodic publications of historical-political works about similarity of character themes with Gender Studies. Gender Observatory promotes European, national and local projects to develop at local level the European social policies, in particular the promotion of equal opportunity policies and anti-discrimination policies.
Mission and Objectives

The Association pursues the European social policies and in particular the equal opportunities policies between men and women and anti-discrimination policies in order to prevent social exclusion of new weak; develop initiatives of research, study, training, information and dissemination, building networks in accordance with the guidelines of the European Union in collaboration with institutional partners and private social organizations at local level; promotes initiatives in the field of national and international cooperation to aid developing countries or organizations in those countries.

Main Projects / Activities

The Observatory was born as a branch of ISREC (the Historical Institute of the Resistance and the Contemporary Age) and therefore follows the draw direction of the this institute. Actually, it intends to organize training courses for history teachers as a training agency authorized by the Ministry of Education, history workshops for students and pupils of schools of all ranks and to lead historical researches activities and the relevant publications and presentations. It indeed proposes itself as a point of reference for corporations, associations, private organizations, scholars and researches involving and interesting in increasing the value of gender differences and in promoting the Equal opportunities through the implementation of projects in harmony with the European concept of gender mainstreaming

Siamo nate nel 2003 dalla consapevolezza che solo una associazione "mista" potesse dare alle donne del territorio la possibilità di scambio di saperi e culture, sostegno, condivisione, integrazione, aiuto sui temi vitali (famiglia, figli, violenza, salute) e l'aiuto con la lingua.
I temi che ci stanno a cuore sono: scolarità, relazione, sostegno, condivisione, valorizzazione delle culture e del tempo speso insieme, lotta all'esclusione sociale, tutto ciò cercato attraverso l'istituzione di corsi d'italiano, informatica, cucito, tessitura, cucina, ceramica, laboratori sulla lingua madre, indagando sempre sulle aspettative, sulla salute fisica e mentale, anche con intervento di specialisti; abbiamo un progetto di orto-terapia, facciamo scambio di vestiti e oggetti, catering, mostre, lettura di poesie in varie lingue, interventi a dibattiti pubblici e convegni. Tutto questo, per creare relazioni e stare insieme.

Zebra Production is an independent film studio located in Ferrara (Italy) composed of 3 branches, one for production, one for realization and one for postproduction of audio-video products. The mission of Zebra Production is the creation, the development and the production of audio-visual products, in particular we realize documentaries, animation movies and format tv focused on new languages of communication and the video new styles, based on communities and groups of people out of socials schemes.
We are working in the educational sector too and we realize workshops.
