Mission and Objectives

Association of Village Improvement National Center is an independent civil non-profit aimed at development and empowerment of the economic and social sectors in the Palestinian countryside, east of Khan Younis to enable rural families to play an active and influential role.
Committed to the Assembly during its vision of human rights, which include justice, equality and commitment to the rule of law, transparency, tolerance, respect and non-discrimination, participation and empowerment of marginalized groups.

1-Distribution relief aid after the war to farmer families near to the border.

4- Implementation of the first activities of the "Legal Aid Scheme and the empowerment of vulnerable groups in the Gaza Strip" in the area of ​​Khuza'a east of Khan Younis, next to the green line.

General Information

The Visual Arts Forum is a leading Palestinian institution in the field of culture and Visual Arts, which aims to promote community development in the arts sector for youth and children. It was established in 2002 as a non-profit organization and is registered with the Palestinian Ministry of Interior. Through its activities, the forum instils important values of equality, voluntary action, transparency and accountability. Its programs in politically and socially marginalized and culturally deprived Palestinian communities all across the West Bank and East Jerusalem, Over the years, the Forum has impacted around 19,000 children, youth, teachers and artists. VAF contain 7 employees (part and full time), VAF cover its cost through the Visual arts schools and the grants project or provide services. we work all over West Bank in partnership with MOE, MOSD, and work with funds from world vision, UNRWA, war child, Drosos, Tawoon and arab fund,

Mission and Objectives

Vision: Towards a Palestinian society that is aware of its culture and identity, and believes that art and creativity are essential tools for expression, change, development, and the promotion of free thought. Mission: We seek to provide opportunities to learn the visual arts, expand their uses in creating change, and promote free thought.

Main Projects / Activities

The Forum, through its four programs, offers a range of services and activities related and specializing in visual arts. These programs are: - Visual Arts Education Program: Evening school visual arts classes target two groups; Young children 5-11 years old, and adults over 12 years old. The forum's work in arts education for adults is organized into an academic curriculum consisting of 12 levels, and two levels for the young category, as each level consists of 48 training hours that are carried out within 3 months. Currently, work is underway to develop a curriculum for teaching visual arts to young people through an artistic committee that supervises and works on preparing the curriculum. The number of students enrolled in the Visual Arts School varies; more than 140 students were enrolled during 2020. However, now, due to the impact of the Coronavirus, the number has decreased to about 70 male and female students. The Forum offers arts education in three educational semesters (Winter, Spring and Fall). The period of each semester extends for three months, and is estimated to cost each student approximately 700 shekels. -Psychosocial Support Program: The program seeks to harness the visual arts to serve psychological and social support, through training specialists in psychological and social counseling, and training social counselors in schools on how to benefit from visual arts in providing guidance to students. The forum works to develop its curriculum in the field of psychosocial counseling, in partnership with the Palestine Red Crescent. - Community Awareness Program in the Visual Arts: The program seeks to explore talents and enhance community awareness on the importance of visual arts. - Economic Empowerment Program through Visual Arts: The program aims to provide job opportunities in the field of visual arts, by providing training in some areas of visual arts that is relevant to market needs, such as: storytelling, animation, and the integration between visual arts and psychological and social support. The program also aims to provide opportunities for practical training through on-the-job training, whether in the local market or abroad, and it aims to create links and relationships between trainees and potential employers in the targeted fields.

Volunteering for Peace (VFP), is a Palestinian non-governmental, not-profit organization which is a charter of United Religions Initiative (URI). VFP is aiming to participate in establishing a bridge between the different faith groups in Palestine Purpose: Spreading the idea of peace in the world and creating a bridge between the different religions. Description of Activities: The Volunteering for Peace CC, was established to participate in establishing a bridge between the different faith groups in Palestine and the world. The idea came to create a working group to discuss in a regular basis regarding the different aspects of the daily life and to encourage cooperation between the different faith groups. The name came from a Euromed youth exchange that took place in Greece in which participants from different countries met in Greece to learn about every community and every faith prospective to peace. Volunteering for Peace participated in different local and international activities. Volunteering for Peace is active in the field on non-violence and peace building. We organize different workshops, training programs and exchanges in topics related to interfaith, non-violence, peace building, conflict resolution, intercultural learning and other topics. General Information

An independent, non-profit organization, established on May 2013 in response to urgent needs for caring of those vulnerable groups basically; at North and East Gaza where the indicators of poor of the poorest, jobless, food insecurity, drop out of schools, psychosocial problems and malnourished is significantly the highest among Gaza provinces, as a negative long term impact of 4 offensive attack mainly at north Gaza. Vulnerable Group Care Center – VGCC, its main mandates is to provide theory of change, power shifting, through empowering children, youth and elderly to be independent, integrated and productive in their society. Its main programmes are directed toward building the capacity of the vulnerable groups ( children, women and elderly), living in north Gaza through provision of unique innovative integrated comperehensive psychosocial, occupational, educational, vocational and rehabilitation care to clients, care givers and family members as per needed, inside the center and outreach programmes. It’s worth mentioning that Vulnerable Group Care Center builds the capacity of local communities in practicing successfully its main pillars, includes accountability, transparency, democracy, lobbying & advocacy, peace building, tolerance, GBV prevention, Gender mainstreaming, Human Rights Based Approaches (HRBA), and active participation of target groups in all project cycle.

Wattan is an award winning, independent and secular media organisation based in Ramallah, Palestine. It was established by three civil society organisations in 1996 in the past two decades established itself as an important voice of Palestinian citizens, civil society and marginalised communities and grouops, such as women and youth. Wattan comprises of 5 departments: Wattan Tv, Wattan News Agency, Wattan Media Centre, Wattan Prodcution and Wattan Marketing adn Commercial, all 60 employees  supervised by the General Director. The board of directors provide financial oversight and strategise the editorial policy. Wattan is funded by the international partners and donors and the revenue from its commercial activities.

Wattan vision is to provide a free and tolerant platform for developing a critical, self-aware and civically active society in Palestine, based on human rights and democratic values.
Wattan mission is to advocate for democracy, non-violence, peace and social justice. Wattan is working towards raising awareness of national, social, political, economic, educational, health and humanitarian matters that are a concern to the Palestinian population at large, through producing, broadcasting and disseminating or selling media and advertising products and services.
Wattan objectives are:
