Reflection is based in Alexandria, and registered with the Egyptian Ministry of Social Solidarity. Size Reflection’s headquarter in Alexandria and recently it has a public cultural events space in Alexandria city center and a store for cultural products in Garden City Smouha neighborhood. Number of staff is 3 full time and 4 part-time employees beside 4 to 6 volunteers. Resources Mainly grants from some international foundation. Raseef (Platform) A project for more familiar convergence between creations that do not find an outlet, and the street audience. Mission and Objectives

Mission:
Generating opportunities to create various artistic contemporary practices for people to experience the creativity of individuals / groups.
Aims:

Creating a sustainable platform for artistic experiences and knowledge exchange, locally and internationally.

Providing means of support for artists to enhance their career and facilitate their practices.

Managing a multi cultural purpose space in order to provide it to creative individuals for their trainings, rehearsals, performances, shows and exhibitions.

Cooperate and/or coordinate with other organizations, initiatives and/or projects within presenting artistic practices and/ or productions.

Providing arts managerial consultancy for other initiatives, projects, or organizations.

Contributing in building knowledge capabilities of arts management, arts market and the creative economy.

Main Projects / Activities

Reflection works in parallel on three overlapped axes that are;

Conducting researches and translations within two main fields in parallel; developing artistic training methods for performing arts, and arts management practices, especially in arts market and economics.

Exchange experience and knowledge in the fields of visual art and performing arts,

Establishing and managing a multi-cultural purpose space,
Therefore, Reflection works as services provider and producer. Where the services mainly are:

Experiences exchange platform within local and/or international scale via productive workshops.

Training courses for both; arts professionals to enhance their career and capabilities, and creative beginners to discover their artistic or managerial potentials.

A multi artistic purpose space for rehearsals as well as performances, shows and exhibitions.

Presenting a wide range of knowledge throw its publications of researches and translations.
And what Reflection mainly produces are:

Publications of its researches and translations.

Audio and audio/video tracks for productions that Reflection is producing.

Information and data analysis about arts market and economics which would be provided upon request and tailored for other organisation, initiative or specific purpose.
All of Reflection’s services and products are provided for a wide range of diverse target groups according to each service and/or products.

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

Most of Reflection's projects are seeking for creating opprotunities for artistic collaborations, which will contribute in developing a long term mutual understanding and trust within our Euro-Mediterranean society. We - Reflection - can provide a sustainable platform for cultural and artistic expression from all ALF's international and national network.

Why do you want to join the ALF Network?

ALF has a great directory of international and national members and thus we would be given a wider chances to establish good connections and building bridges of trust with many potential partners and collaborators. Although we already have few good connections with other Euro-Mediterranean organizations, but we needed to put these connections in an official network framework, so ALF is an excellent solution for us to find our purpose, as well as getting access to ALF's grants that might benefit us and our potential collaborators.

The RCE Cairo brings together institutions, e.g. universities, schools, research institutes, enter-prices, NGOs, and individuals at the local and regional level, to jointly promote Education for Sustainable Development. On this way the RCE Cairo is an extension of SEKEMs activities in the field of Sustainable Development. Four working groups (see "projects")act as the operational arms of the RCE Cairo. The RCE Cairo relies on funding - due to its acceptance a few weeks ago, we are still working on the final budget.
Mission and Objectives

Mission: Shape a sustainable future by educating and mobilizing key actors towards sustainable development in the RCE Cairo scope area.
Objectives:
o Raising awareness on Education for Sustainable Development
o Integrating aspects of SD in the fields of Social Development; Education; Research and Innovation; Environment, Health and Agriculture
o Spreading ESD in the RCE Cairo scope area, and beyond

RDC is a private partnership dedicated to community development, governance, and communications. It has been working in Egypt since 2005 before re-established under the current name as a result of chnaging the legal framework. Ro2yaty Training Agency is the first in Alexandria that supports social activities to improve the community. Actually, there are a lot of ways we can contribute to the ALF Network. First of all, through the collaborative model we are working with. Secondly, by providing capacity building programs in different majors for organizations who work in the civil society to raise their calibers. Thirdly, by introducing different collaborative projects in which other organizations in the network may be interested to join. Of course there are more to add, but these three are the major items of contribution for now.

Rotaract is a NGO & Non Profit international organization of service clubs for men and women aged 18 – 30 that fosters leadership and responsible citizenship, encourages high ethical standards in business and promotes international understanding and peace. Rotaract is a program of Rotary International. Rotaract Clubs work under the guidance of their local Rotary Club, and take their name from a combination of the words Rotary and action. Rotaract Clubs conduct formal meetings, usually every two weeks, which feature speakers, tours of local businesses, cultural activities, discussions, and visits to other clubs. Rotaractors utilize weekends for service project work, social events, and professional and leadership development workshops. Ro’ya Center for Development and Media Studies is a non profitable civil company working on supporting freedom of expression, enhancing the freedom of press and circulation of information, establishing the citizenship and tolerance principles, participating in establishing democratic and liberal values and strengthening the concepts of the civil state. Our statement Media plays the most important role in spreading information, circulation of knowledge and building the communication bridges among communities, freedom of media is the essence of freedom of expression. Thus, Ro’ya center endeavors to develop the current media policies and practices that participate in developing a media society working to elevate the freedom and democracy, to strengthen the concept of civil state and citizenship and to support the culture of tolerance and accepting of the other through applying programs and mechanisms that establish the freedom of expression and media, face the violations against the journalists, develop their professional skills and develop the legislations that support the freedom of media through the participation of all the concerned parties in the process to making the change.

Sadat City Languages School(SCLS) is a non- profit , inclusive and co-educational school, estalished since 1998 under the sponsor  of Sadat City Investor Association(SCIA) to provide high level of education from K. stage to grade 12 in a way to attrack people to live and work in Sadat City; one of the biggest industerial Cities in Egypt. Now we have 760 students in different stage, with about 120 staff members. In its long history, SCLS is able to build communications with numbers of associations working in education and Culture fields such as Anna Lindh Foundation, I, earn, Volvo Adventure, People To people International (PTPI)  and so on. We have a great record with Anna Lindh foundation through our particition in Young Arab Voices(Phase 1 &2), Religious Diversity Programme and One hundred festival.

Main Projects / Activities

1-  Religious Diversity was our first contribuation with ALF where number of teachers and a big number of students are able to practice different activities related to the content moreover their awarness develped and they become more objecive in dealing with religious issues.
2- One Hundred Festival was another contribuation where SCLS organise annully  under the umberlla of International Day where each class presenting on of the countries ( History, Customs, Food  and general information )
3- Young Arab Voice was another project with Anna Lindh where SCLS leads wonderful debat activities with a number of schoosl around.
