General Information
Dignità del Lavoro is a social cooperative constituted in 2012 by 10 people, five of which are volunteers. The competences of the staff members are related to communication and international events organization, education and production of educative tools. Furthermore, some of the staff members are expert in vocational training and job creation or in the languages translation. In its first year of activity, the organization has reached a budget of about 20 thousand euros, but the goal for the future is to reach at list 100 thousand euros per year. The main source of revenues of the cooperative is the sale of its publishing products and the grant of its projects.
Mission and Objectives

The mission of Dignità del Lavoro is to pursuit the general interest of the community to the social inclusion of disadvantaged people by means of the promotion of productive activities and cultural projects in which those people can be occupied. The main beneficiaries are young people who are at risk of exclusion, due to their lack of training or their social weakness. Productive activities and events projects are aimed to pursuit importat cultural objective: propagation of the culture of legality; promotion of dialogue and cooperation among youth in the Mediterranean; building of peace; cooperation for the social cohesion.

Main Projects / Activities

The most important educational tool produced by Dignità del Lavoro is a table game called "Cittadini. La sfida quotidiana della legalità", a game aimed to educate to the culture of legalità among youth and adults. This game is now selled in several city in Italy. About the events organization, the most important project is the "MeYouMe - Mediterranean Youth Meeting", created by the cooperative "Delfino Lavoro" in 2008 and now under the responsibility of Dignità del Lavoro.

We can contribute to the network by sharing our competencies and our network of youth organizations by almost all the Mediterranean countries.

We want to join the ALF network because we believe in the development of a Mediterranean of dialogue, cooperation and peace and we want to contribute to this objective. For this reason we want cooperate with all organization who share this vision.

Official Catholic organization run by the bishop and priests with 80,000 faithful. The budget resources available in a year are around 800,000 euros (almost all resources are allocated to internal activities). Sources of financing: internal and from Conferenza Episcopale Italiana. Projects: religious, cultural and cultural heritage, art, interreligious dialogue, schools, assistance to the poor. Main partners involved: Parishes; local and italian Caritas; local, italian and international institutions and associations (publics and privates).
Mission and Objectives

The diocese has as its mission and objectives the practice of the Catholic religion with religious activities, human education and promotion, cultural and religious dialogue, assistance and support of the poor, enhancement of cultural heritage, research activities, activities with the students.

Main Projects / Activities

Cultural project between Pitigliano and Jerusalem, with institutional relations between the Diocese and the State of Israel (Embassy of Israel in Rome), between the Diocese and "La Piccola Gerusalemme" Association of Pitigliano ("The little Jerusalem"). Twinning between the Diocese of Pitigliano-Sovana-Orbetello and the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem. Support for the Bethlehem University through a scholarship and joint projects. Official agreement with the Faculty of Architecture of Florence, aimed at the realization of joint research projects and enhancement of cultural heritage (6th-4th centuries BC - 19th century AD) in Italy and Israel / Palestine and other States.

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

To make available the history and culture of Pitigliano for an interreligious and cultural dialogue, especially with institutions and Christians in Israel and the Palestinian Territories, with people and institutions of Jewish religion (also with the State of Israel and the city of Jerusalem ). Contribute to cultural research, development and human promotion, especially in the religious and cultural fields.

To make available the important history and important religious and human culture of the ancient Diocese of Pitigliano. Contribute with the facts to the promotion of religious, cultural and human dialogue, as well as to the proposal and implementation of cultural and religious projects, by joining the Italian Network for Euro-Mediterranean Dialogue and the ALF Network.

Mission and Objectives

promoting knowledge of contemporary art abroad, in concordance with the National Ministry for Foreign Affairs;
spreading knowledge of contemporary art in general and encouraging young artists’ works, even through competitions;
promoting joint projects of new architectural buildings with social and cultural relevance and the restructuring of existing ones;
promoting participation of young designers to joint projects;
promoting projects characterized by an integrated approach between environmental perspective and cultural one, with particular attention to rural architecture;
promoting education on contemporary architectural and urban culture and artistry, in cooperation with universities and local authorities;
performing research in Architecture, Urban Planning and Landscaping, even through post-graduate training in the field of conservation and valorization of cultural and environmental heritage.

Main Projects / Activities

The Department identify and catalogu contemporary artistic and architectural heritage, and establish an “Historical Archive” of the most important Sicilian architects’ works.
to identify contemporary artistic works in Sicily in several fields (painting, sculpture, design, photography, cinematography, visual arts, artistic handicraft, music, dance, theater) in order to promote their integration and development;
to set an annual calendar of exhibitions, conferences, seminars, congresses, awards, scholarships and grants to be realized in cooperation with the main national and international museums and universities;
to organize touristic and cultural routes on Sicilian contemporary art, by linking local museums, galleries, buildings and exhibitions of acknowledged artistic quality, in order to promote them and to increase Sicilian cultural supply;
to promote cultural changes among art schools, internships and seminars through an international cooperation program;
to promote coordination in participation in national and international events like exhibitions, competitions, awards and so on.

Le Département de Théories et Politiques du Développement Social coordonne et promeut des activités de recherche interdisciplinaire dans plusieurs domaines, tels que : les droits de l’homme ; les droits linguistiques ; le développement local ; les institutions législatives, administratives et judiciaires des Etats et leurs organisations ; les institutions non étatiques et leurs organisations bureaucratiques, d’entreprise et de bénévolat ; les dynamiques gestionnaires et structurelles des organisations complexes ; la gestion des organisations complexes ; l’analyse des phénomènes liés aux organisations complexes dans les domaines économique et social.

Main Projects / Activities

Le Département se compose de spécialistes de plusieurs disciplines : des philosophes, des sociologues, des économistes et des linguistes. Les philosophes travaillent principalement à la définition de la notion de droit dans le cadre de nouveaux mondes possibles, sur l'éthique et la responsabilité d'entreprise.
La branche sociologique focalise son attention sur l'analyse et la gouvernance du développement local avec une attention toute particulière à l’égard des ressources immaterielles de la communauté.
Les économistes travaillent à des modèles de prévision des marchés. La branche linguistique fédère les autres disciplines à travers une approche sociolinguistique et une série d’actions d’envergure: des colloques internationaux annuels sur les droits linguistiques ; des Festivals sur les littératures minoritaires d’Europe et de la Méditerranée avec réalisation d’une Expositon itinérante sur les mêmes sujets. En partenariat avec l’Association LEM-Italia, création et direction d’un cycle de colloques en ligne (« Colloques virtuels »).

Mission and Objectives

The department was created to promote and co-ordinate activities of scientific investigation and research and provide educational support in the field of architecture and related multidisciplinary subjects. Design research activities are organized in 6 fields: Architectural design; restoration; architectural history; building technologies and processes; survey and representation; environmental technical physics.

Main Projects / Activities

The Department “performs activities of research and consultancy services as part of contracts and agreements stipulated with external public and private bodies”.
These contracts have led to consultancy services related to research pursued by the DIPSA, representing the skills that the Department is able to offer.
The consultancy services are related to architectural design, urban mobility, documentation of architectural heritage as well as lighting and acoustic design.

General Information

Mais is an Italian ETS legal registered under the Italian Ministry of Foreigner Affairs working in the field of International Cooperation and Global Citizenship Education. It works in collaboration with local partners in several countries, such as Egypt, Senegal, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Vietnam. Its annual budget amounts to about 500 thousand euros, which is derived from the support of public and private donors for the implementation of socio-economic empowerment projects of local communities with a human -right oriented approach.

M.A.I.S.’ objectives:

To work in favour of sustainable and participated development of the global South, particularly for small-scale producers, the children and women, promoting the rise of local capacity.
To promote exchange of expertise both within the countries where it works and between the North and the South of the world.

The DIRES at the University of Florence promotes and co-ordinates teaching and research in the fields of restoration and preservation of architectural cultural assets. Director : Prof. Carlo Alberto Garzonio. The STRUCTURE is composed of: 12 professors (architects, geologist) 9 researchers (architects, chemist, geologist) 2 laboratory technicians 3 administrative technicians LABORATORIES - PHOTOGRAPHIC LABORATORY -LAM (Laboratory of Analysis of Materials) -LAMU (Multi media laboratory) -LIPTAC (Cultural heritage and environmental preservation laboratory). The 2008 budgetary resources was € 1.285.890,49 EU University, CNR, UNESCO, Italian Ministry of cultur and many other public and private partners.
Mission and Objectives

a) Promote, support co-ordinate and carry out theoretical and applied research in the area of cultural assets. This may include co-operation between universities, research institutes, national and local administrative bodies and industry;
b) Encourage and help organize post-graduate teaching programmes, in particular Doctorate and Masters courses;
c) Promote the exchange of information, documentation and material between teachers and researchers in the relevant fields within the frame-work of the above-mentioned co-operation;
d) Encourage the spread of scientific information and
inter-disciplinary co-operation in areas relevant to the Centre’s activities;
e) Promote national and international conventions specifically designed to further the Dires’s goals;
f) Provide and co-ordinate advisory services to individuals and institutions not connected to universities.
