How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

1. Skill Building: The cooperative can offer training programs and workshops to members of the network on plumbing techniques, maintenance, and water conservation practices. This helps in enhancing the skill set of individuals within the network.

2. Empowerment of Women: As a women-led cooperative, it can advocate for gender equality and women's empowerment within the civil society networks. By sharing their success stories and challenges faced in the male-dominated field of plumbing, they can inspire other women to pursue non-traditional careers.

3. Community Outreach: The cooperative can engage in community outreach programs in collaboration with the civil society networks to provide plumbing services to marginalized communities. This could involve offering discounted or pro-bono services to low-income households or participating in water sanitation projects in rural areas.

4. Environmental Sustainability: Given the importance of water conservation and environmental sustainability, the cooperative can contribute by promoting eco-friendly plumbing practices. This includes advocating for the use of water-saving fixtures and technologies, as well as educating communities on the importance of efficient water management.

5. Policy Advocacy: The cooperative can actively engage in policy advocacy efforts within the civil society networks to influence legislation and regulations related to plumbing standards, licensing, and gender equality in the workforce. They can provide valuable insights based on their on-the-ground experiences.

Overall, the Wise Women Plumbers Cooperative has the potential to make significant contributions to the ALF National Civil Society Networks in Jordan by leveraging their expertise, promoting gender equality, and advocating for sustainable water management practices.
