Etnográfica Journal Celebrates 50 Years of April 25th with Special Issue

CRIA - Centro em Rede de Investigação em Antropologia, member of the Portuguese Network, proudly launched the latest issue of Etnográfica, commemorating the 50th anniversary of April 25th, on May 27, 2024, at the Esplanada da NOVA FCSH on Avenida de Berna.

Etnográfica is an international journal of social and cultural anthropology, publishing original articles in Portuguese, English, Spanish, or French on a quarterly basis. The journal prioritizes high-quality empirical research, diverse analytical perspectives, and theoretical innovation. Articles are selected through a rigorous anonymous peer-review process, ensuring scholarly excellence. 

Indexed in major databases and collections such as Anthropological Index Online, EBSCO, Revues.org, SciELO, Scopus, and Web of Science – SciELO Citation Index, Etnográfica addresses a wide range of ethnographic contexts.

CRIA is an interuniversity research unit established in 2007, recognized with "Very Good" in international evaluations of R&D units in 2007, 2013, and 2017. Since 2021, CRIA has been part of IN2PAST - the Associate Laboratory for Research and Innovation in Heritage, Arts, Sustainability, and Territory.
