General Information
Teatro Punto is a theater company under the artistic leadership of Katrien Van Beurden and Carlos García Estévez. It is a theater company which develops performances and workshops, based on Modern Commedia dell' Arte. With an international team of actors, Teatro Punto is active in countries such as The Netherlands, America, France and Spain. Its workshops are designed for professional actors and for theater academies such as the Arnhem acting school, the Wagner University in New York, the Ipan theatre in Paris and the Frank Sanders Music Theater Academy in Amsterdam.
Mission and Objectives

Teatro Punto makes theatre where the actor is the author of the story. As the actor on stage is stripped of supports such as extended settings and a fixed script, he can become the author of a tragicomic show. He does this through movement, text, techniques, imagination and the drift to perform.Teatro Punto’s main source of inspiration is Commedia dell'Arte. With its famous masks and archetypes, Commedia dell'Arte is the first professional actors' theater in history. Some such better known archetypes are Pantalone, an old man that holds on to anything because death is calling, and Il Capitano, the one who pretends to be everything he's not. Hatred, fear and desire are significant emotions brought forward by these characters. The most important motives are survival, love, money and starvation. Teatro Punto occupies itself with the archetypes of today while developing a very characteristic and contemporary universal actors' theater. Full of acting possibilities it is precise and vulnerable, yet above all else it is alive. The Company wants to bring together nationality's. In popular tradition the Archetypical mask appears as a social liberation from taboos and as a cultural expression of the common people. The archetypes from Commedia dell'Arte come from Popular Culture. All of them have appeared from the antiquity to our present days. They are universal and immortal.

Main Projects / Activities

Because the archetypes and its masks are universal, is is a theatre form witch can be played every where, with everyone, and for everyone.
If you take for example the archetype of Pantalone, an old man that holds on to life because death is calling, you see that in all the world the recognise the oldness, but depending the cultural, there circumstances and background, they are different, Threw this theatre we learn in wat we are different but maybe more in wat we have in common. Teatro punto Tours around witch shows and workshops the teach theatermakers the technique op Teatro punto and they create schools where different nationality's work together.

General Information

non profit with mainly change agents and volunteers - no general staff on payrol Within the organizational circles of the Center for Human Emergence we are guided by chaordic design for the creation of our purpose and principles. Our policy and decision-making processes are supported by ways of Holacracy. In addition, over the years, we experienced that the use and creation of specific languaging opens the space for new energy and application to come into action. A typical example is the unconventional names for the roles in which those who are active within CHE describe our accountabilities.

Mission and Objectives

The Hague Center focuses on international societal challenges whose complexity requires collaboration between multiple stakeholders. We provide insight into the current condition, and co-design and facilitate transition processes to better futures. We believe that with resolve, imagination and creative endeavour we can co-enable a great social transformation which will have lasting benefit for present and future generations.

General Information
The organization The Hague Peace Projects was brought to life by four individuals who all work in the field of human rights and conflicts. Together, they agreed that more could be done to provide people in Europe and in countries of conflict with genuine, reliable information about these conflicts. Far too often news reports and human rights organizations focus only on the symptoms of war: explosions, number of deaths and refugees, battles and sieges, instead of the root causes of these conflicts, ulterior motives and interests. The four founders however, believe that it is important to know who the main actors behind the scenes are and what objectives they have, where the funding and the weapons come from and who the true victims are. Only thorough research, analysis and regular personal contact with the diaspora in Europe, local journalists and activists on the ground, can such a true image of a conflict been given. And only with this kind of information about the true causes and consequences of conflicts, can solutions be formulated and relevant action be taken. Core values The Hague Peace Projects believes and will comply in all its actions to the values of freedom, non-violence, transparency, and human rights. Structure of the organization The Hague Peace Projects is an entirely voluntary organization, with about 150 volunteers in total. The budget for projects comes from project proposals and acquisition of funds, but generally the organization functions on very low costs. We have ambitions to professionalize the organization, however, and part of that strategy is the acquisition of more funds.
Mission and Objectives

Vision
The Hague Peace Projects believes in a world where conflicts between human beings, groups of people and countries are not solved by violence and the law of the jungle, but through dialogue, respect for human rights, and honest cooperation between equals.
Mission
The mission of the Hague Peace Projects is to contribute to peaceful solutions to (armed) conflicts by bringing diaspora groups in the Netherlands from conflict areas together, to contribute to the knowledge of the root causes of conflict and its possible solutions.
By researching, analyzing and clarifying the often complex contexts and realities of (armed) conflicts, the Hague Peace Projects will provide relevant information to decision makers, assist and encourage actors on all levels to take the necessary actions that lead to conflict resolution and eventually peace.

Main Projects / Activities

Strategy
The Hague Peace Project cooperates with diaspora communities from conflict areas living in Europe, local journalists and human rights actors living and working in conflict areas. Together with them the Hague Peace Projects does research, publishes reports, does advocacy on different levels, and organizes public campaigns. We pay special attention to cultural and artistic events raising awareness among a wider public of today’s conflicts and everyone’s capacities to contribute to peace.
As of May 2017, the Hague Peace Projects has working groups on and from the following regions and topics: Great Lakes Region, Turkish-Kurdish dialogue, Somalia, Bangladesh, Syria. A Morroccan working group is in the stages of set-up.
