General Information
1. “Camera Lucida” is a private non-profit association. There are three founding members and five official members. The association doesn’t employ any staff. Since it’s foundation the association is the legal representative of the Research Theatre Group “Fractals”, which started it’s activity during June 2001. 2. In 2005-2006: 12.000 euro. In 2006 up to the present date the budgetary sum achieved is 6.000 euro. 3. The association lacks a constant funding, although has received twice a funding from the Ministry of Northern Greece (2005: 2.000 euro, 2006: 1.000 euro.) 4. “ Camera Lucida” (and “Fractals”) act through theatre, music, education and social projects, seminars on theatre and art subjects, and media-video projects. Also keep theatre laboratories for people with disabilities, specially for people with mental disorders. 5. Mission and Objectives

The association’s objective is to promote methods and research toward the exploration of the individual and the collective memory: fields of the research are the tradition of the language and the cultural customs, texts , dances and songs, the interactive elements between cultures and the comport mental models of the individuals.
The ways to approach such a research are theatre (studies on body expression, voice, stage- space, interaction, improvisation) and media art-video (image’s aesthetics,function and semiology).

Main Projects / Activities

• 2004-2006 Project “Mnesimachos” (= he who fights against memory ) : a project on the meaning of violence - Replica alla Violenza” (presented in Thessaloniki-Greece, Urbino-Italy, Naxxar-Malta)
• 2005-2006 Project “Asinus Rex” (=the King Donkey): a project for a laboratory on the relation between urban environment, traditional fairy tales, children folk songs and Commedia dell’ Arte. Theatre performance “Asinus Rex”. (Samothraki- Greece, Urbino-Italy, Thessaloniki-Greece)
• 2005 “ Peri (e)aftou o Logos” (= talking about him) : street theatre performance,and “La Citta delle Maschere” (=the City of the Masks),
• 2006 Project “ The Voyage of the Water” : educational programme for children , using theatre, myth-making and story-telling laboratories
• 2006 Project “The Ways of Eros”: a research on the theme of Sofocles ‘Antigone” and the theme of Shakespeare’s “Hamlet”.

The head office in Athens has 13 full time staff in house comprising 1 project manager, 1 Technical manager, 2 consultants, 2 instructional designers, 1 graphical designer/animator, 3 Web Developers, 2 multimedia programmers, 1 sales manager. All members of staff are multilingual with in-depth experience in the delivery of services worldwide. The company offers to its clients integrated solutions and services with high added value, from conceptualization, the design of content visualization (storyboarding) and the development of applications to consulting services for the exploitation of digital media (digital marketing) and the design of targeted marketing campaigns for customer’s applications. Moreover, the company provides both the educational and methodological editing of the software applications it develops. The annual turn over for 2015 is approximatelly 1.115.000 Euros and about 80% of it originates from commercial projects globally while approximatelly 20% is due to R&D grants mainly EU project. With over 700 projects completed, CCS partners with more than 40 major international organizations in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Italy, Poland, China, Singapore, Cyprus, Greece and the UAE. It specializes in the development of interactive multimedia for use with interactive whiteboards (IWB), mobile devices (tablets & smartphones) and also PCs, based mainly on the educational content of published books (coursebooks, work books, text books, exam papers etc.) but also on all types of content originating from all sectors, including corporate, HE, K-12, ELT, VET, etc.
The company offers to its clients integrated solutions and services with high added value, from conceptualization, the design of content visualization (storyboarding) and the development of applications to consulting services for the exploitation of digital media (digital marketing ) and the design of targeted marketing campaigns for customer’s applications. Moreover, the company provides both the educational and methodological editing of the software applications it develops.

One of the core activities of CCS is the widest and broadest possible dissemination of added value knowledge. To this end the company has executed many commercial and also some publicly funded projects resulting to the transformation of knowledge to engaging interactive multimedia content ready to be “digested” by the intended audiences.
CCS will utilise its membership of the European Alliance for Innovation (eai.eu) and D-Learn Network (dlearn.eu) to contribute to the objectives of the Network mainly in Greece, but also at EU level.

The Gender Studies Centre promotes:

Main Projects / Activities

The Centre is currently co-ordinating a FP7 Research Project on Gender, Migration and Intercultural Interactions in the Mediterranean and South East Europe: an interdisciplinary perspective (GEMIC). (www.gemic.eu)
Other activities include:
Fostering collaboration between students and professors of Panteion University and of other Universities, and between other institutions and organizations working on gender equality issues.

The Centre for Human Rights is a research centre of the Department of Political Science of the University of Crete, which was established in 2004 in Rethymno, Crete, Greece. Its main objective is to conduct and support academic research, knowledge and relevant activities in the different aspects of the multidimentional field of human rights.  

Mission and Objectives

The Centre for Human Rights of the Department of Political Science of the University of Crete mission and objectives are the following: 1. To study and conduct field research regarding the multidimensional issue of human rights and minority rights. 2. The conduction of empirically and theoretically established on parliamentarism. 3. The consolidation of democratic institutions in the countries of North Africa, the Balkans and the Middle East 4. The Centre alongside his research activity has a distinct educational function. It acts as a "Summer University" to implement Intensive Programmes (IP) targeted at students / female students from all the abovementioned countries and are based on the consolidation processes of collective rights and values. 5. The coverage in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research needs of the Department of Political Science, Faculty of Social Sciences and other departments of the University of Crete in aspects falling within the centre's activity objectives. 6. The conduction of basic and applied political research 7. The conduction of studies and field research in the field of human rights and the promotion of parliamentarism in the Greek, European and international level. 8. The cooperation with research centres and academic institutions, national, European and international in the field of human rights. 9. The organization of scientific conferences, workshops, seminars, symposia, conferences and other scientific events and publications. 10. The provision of services to individuals. 11. The organization of specialized library and database. 12. The publication of books, studies, yearbooks and practices on issues of human rights 13. To undertake any scientific initiative in order to support and facilitate the research work of the Department.

The Centre for Human Rights can contribute to the increase of Network's presence in Greece through the conduction of conferences, symposia, research and seminars about the broader aspects of human rights, international development and cooperation.

General Information
The Centre of Eastern Studies for Culture and Communication is an official research center of Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, Greece.It focuses on the research and analysis of East, Near, Middle and Far East, both at an academic and scientific level. The study includes a large part of Asia, North Africa, Turkey and Caucasus. The Centre organises seminars and scientific workshops, conferences and lectures on culture, politics, economy, international relations and communication. It has also published journals and policy papers both in printed and electronic version.  Academics comprise the Centre's Administrative Board. The Centre has more than 15 researchers at an annual basis (undergraduate and postgraduate) and collaborates with academics, practioniers and policy makers in order to produce a high-level of research which includes both the theoretical, empirical and practical aspects. The Centre cooparates with public and private organisations and institutions, while tryng to develop the interconnectedness of every-day events, states' problems, conflict issues, national disputes, religious controversies, problems of peace, democracy and human rights.   
Mission and Objectives

The mission of the Centre aims to capture and analyse the region of East, the geography and geopolitics in reference to the main thematic categories such as politics, economy, religion, communication, culture. In relation to the research, educational and wider academic directions and orientations, the Near, Middle and Far East, Central Asia and Transcaucasia, and the Southeastern Mediterranean consist geographical areas of direct scientific interest of the Centre. 
The Center aims to deal with critical, but also extremely important contemporary issues of humanity, such as Islam and Terrorism in the Arab world, Persia as an independent special international problem, the Kurdish issue, conflicts Transcaucasia (Armenia versus Azerbaijan), ethnic and minority problems, India - Pakistan's controversy over Kashmir, the phenomenon of underdevelopment and environmental destruction, poverty and impoverishment of large sections of the population and issues associated with peace and stability,  human rights, freedoms and democracy.
 
 

Main Projects / Activities

The Centre invites as speakers political personalities from the academia, diplomacy field and culture in seminars, conferences and workshops. The Centre's publications include  the inaugural edition of the international journal "Eurodialogue, Journal of International Relations, European, Economic and Social Studies" in collaboration with the European Parliament. It has developed a solid research and educational policy referred, both in organizing and conducting training sessions between students from national and foreign Universities, such as University of Bilgi and Galatasaray in Turkey, in a simulation approach for issues of democracy, human rights, Greek-Turkish relations and other international conflicts, issues of globalization and terrorism. The Centre organized in collaboration with the World  Religions and Cultures Centre of Kykkos Monastery, two international conferences on the Meeting of Religions and Cultures in the counterpoint of Huntington's theory of conflict of civilizations. 

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

The Centre will be an added value to the Network of Anna Lindt as it can function as a link between students, young researchers and the academia with institutions and organisations, both public and private, in the field of culture, communication, media and international relations.

General Information
As CIMA is a young organisation, the hierarchy is flat organised. The head of CIMA is the board of directors, consisting of 4 members. The board is steering and controlling the work of the three departments, dealing with relation to Euromed Entrepreneurs, Civil Society and Academic contacts. Beside the Board of directors, the Honorable Board is advising and supervising the work of CIMA. CIMA has at the moment a total staff of 8, not included volunteers in the CIMA Network. CIMA is depending on one hand on fund-raising and external support for the different events and sources as European Union funds and income through conferences. As CIMA is in its first business year, no exact numbers on the budget can be given yet. CIMA is working together with a variety of partners on different programmes. Partners are local institutions, companies and organisations for activities on Chios, up to international Institutes, Universities, Network and Think Tanks for the Euromed Fora. In General CIMA is open for all interested partners in order to organise sustainable projects. The activities of CIMA are open for all interested individuals, organisations or companies. The Calls for papers are published via our Homepage and Social Media.
Mission and Objectives

CIMA facilitates developments fostering awareness of the Euro-Mediterranean project through the following four channels:
1. The provision of services for entrepreneurs who wish to develop their activities at the basin level to contribute to the development of an entrepreneurial spirit and to the regional creation of economic activity;
2. The lobbying of public authorities to promote basin-oriented projects, thus contributing to the diffusion of a spirit of regional trust and cooperation;
3. Participation in the ongoing political and academic debate concerning Euro-Mediterranean cooperation, with the aim to inform the public thus facilitating the appropriation of the project by the peoples;
4. The organisation of civil society meetings, cultural events and professional trainings at the basin level, contributing to the mobility of both persons and ideas as well as promoting cultural dialog.
In so doing, CIMA wishes to contribute to the fulfillment of the ambitious objectives set forth by the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership and the European Neighborhood Policy.

Main Projects / Activities

CIMA is organising different kind of events, bringing together people from allover the Euromed Region.
The current activities are:
- The Euromed Forum for Cultural Diplomacy
- The Euromed Forum for Young Researchers
- The Chios Summer School on Sustainable Tourism
Further on CIMA is engaged in supporting different cultural events and in preparing projects in international networks.
A permanent Internship program is launched at the headquarter of CIMA on the island of Chios.

General Information

Club Serres for Unesco is an NGO based in Serres, encompassing the main UNESCO values in promoting non formal education, awareness-raising for social and environmental issues, encouraging active citizenship and social entrepreneurship. It is run by a 9-member Board which convenes on a monthly basis and changes on a bi-annual basis. The Board oversees the activities of more than 50 volunteers. There is no membership fee nor any sort of revenue for the organization, save from selected projects proposals submitted for funding under EU Calls for Proposals, which cover specific project cycles.  

Mission and Objectives

Since its establishment in 1996, Club Serres for UNESCO has participated in several mobility and EVS projects comprising of exchanges, seminars and trainings and has a long experience in awareness-raising events and campaign organization.  Its main area of interest involves awareness-raising activities targeted to students and young adults, focused on multiculturalism as well as the promotion of European identity and youth empowerment. The organisation is involved in the promotion of elementary education, protection of nature and the protection of cultural heritage,  organisation of camps of research and study, production of periodical form with informative documents., translation and/or adoption in the national and local languages of basic texts and documents of UNESCO and United Nations as well as  youth exchanges, campaigns on International Days as they are nominated by the General Assembly of United Nations and the UNESCO, awareness-raising activities, promotion of EU identity, organization of seminars, trainings. Basic documents of reference: The statute of “Club Serres for Unesco”, the Chart of United Nations, the Chart of Human Rights, the Statement for the Rights of Child etc Through our activities we provide support and know-how to local actors such as the Municipality of Serres, schools, academic institutes, the local Museum of Natural History, etc.  

Main Projects / Activities

Indicative actions in 2013-2014 include: • Youth empowerment activities including educational programs, launch of campaigns, trainings • Events/campaigns celebrating the International Volunteering Day, the 20th Anniversary of Human Rights’ Day 1993-2013, the European Forest Week, the World Aids Day, the World Day of Philosophy for Inclusive Societies, World Week for Science and Peace, World Day against Fascism, World Day for Audiovisual Heritage, World Cultural Heritage day etc. • Campaigns on awareness-raising on: SayNo-UNiTE to End Violence Against Women, FARE-UEFA-UNESCO: Say No to Racism, e-campaign for World Illiteracy Day, • Educational programs for schools on environmental issues awareness-raising • Prize awarding to schools for participating in UN and Unesco Campaigns • Launch of National Contest for schools participating in International Year for Water Cooperation 2013 under the auspices of Greek Ministry of Education • Participation in IPA European Territorial Cooperation Program Interreg Greece- Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia on delivering pre-school alternative services on health and education
