Media Diversity Institute Global stands up against media censorship

Member of Belgian network Media Diversity Institute Global published a statement in which they refute the accusations that the Russian Foreign Ministry made on 19 August 2024. MDI is accused of ‘spreading misinformation to discredit the Russian state through mainstream media and online, and vainly trying to create conditions for destabilising the situation in the country. Members from the Media Diversity Institute (MDI), along with experts from other UK charities, have been banned from entering the Russian Federation as a result.
