General Information
The Association is managed by the Director of Boards consists of 9 permanent and 5 reserve members. The principal item of income is membership fee.The available budget for the annual projects is between 10.000-15.000€. The Association has no partners and staff employed. Among the the activities the Association has performed are plays, seminars, concerts and donation activities. In 2011, White Pen Association besides Da Vinci and Comenius programs is working for several national and international calls for projects.
Mission and Objectives

To reach disadvantage groups by the ways of education, culture and art activities; to play role to integrate these groups to the society.
To raise the life-standard of woman, children and disables; to fight against exclusion and prejudice; to produce for the developing regions are our primary goals.

General Information
In our organization we are accepting members from govenmental officers. Our organization includes 22 official members and 500 volunteer members. Our available budgetary and resources 200.000 Turkish lira for 2012 resources are based on the donations from the members. We have a project from Youth and Sport Ministry of Republic of Turkey name of the project "biz birlikte varız-We can be exist together" We have done seminars like culture days of adana city and about to stop the smoking.

General Information

Our association has a structure in which academics working at universities operating in Ankara voluntarily operate. Primarily, it works to support the education rights of young university students, to diversify the channels of access to information, to empower disadvantaged students and to develop students' careers in line with their interests and abilities. At this point, as an association, we provide mentoring support to students. In addition, our association carries out activities such as meetings, panels and interviews to raise awareness in the society about human rights, rule of law, democracy and justice. We want to strengthen our institutional capacity by making use of the expert support and funds of STGM.

Mission and Objectives

Our members, who carry out activities voluntarily within the association and carry out academic studies at different universities, have taken part in many EU projects as participants and coordinators. In terms of study subjects; Topics such as education, women's employment, increasing the schooling rates of girls, vocational training of disabled students, democracy and human rights can be cited as examples.

Main Projects / Activities

To ensure that the raw material of "Knowledge" is processed on the "Education" workbench and transformed into "Career" and thus to contribute to the development and civilization required by the age. In this direction; To support career development by making a social education move with corporate, personal and private training organizations.

The main activities of BİTAV are twinning, organising, designing, managing, and establishing infrastructure and networks through employing knowledge and qualified human resources. The outcomes of these activities are: Training Management, Project Management, Knowledge Management and Production of Training Materials. Since 1995, the year of establishment, BİTAV provided training more than 10,000 people with different backgrounds, disseminated computer textbooks to a population of 150,000, prepared documentaries such as “Science and Life” and “Written by Lights” (a documentary on Turkish scientists) which was aired by TRT and reach to a audience of hundred thousands, contributed to app. 2,000 adolescent’s vocational training and skill, completed 17 EU- and/or the World Bank- funded projects. Mission:
To contribute to the development of a “science-dominated society” through realising value added activities as an output of “social responsibility”; to support “information age” in Turkey by establishing -and/or joining to- national and/or international networks active on science, technology and culture.
BİTAV’s principles are: employing scientific methods and participatory approach, focusing on problem solving activities that are innovative and creative as well as transparent and eco-friendly.
BİTAV’s objectives are: (i) to contribute to national science and technology policies as a NGO; (ii) to establish partnerships with public and private agencies in order to maximize the befits of international funds; (iii) to extend scientific R&D activities; (iv) to participate to design regional innovation strategies in order to diminish regional discrepancies; (v) to contribute to solve employment problem by providing training activities compatible to the EU standards; (vi) to encourage the young people to participate to scientific activities.

Main Projects / Activities

The main asset of BİTAV is its “project approach”. Different stages of a project from developing an idea and preparing a project to management, monitoring and evaluation and finalizing are its strengthens which was proved by thematic projects such as training, science and technology, culture, regional development, tourism, employment, capacity development, etc. On the other hand, most of these thematic projects include youth, women and disadvantageous groups.

General Information

Bilkent University is the first private not-for-profit university in Turkey founded in 1984. According to the vision of its founder Ihsan Doğramacı, Bilkent has aspired to become an English-language centre of excellence in higher education and research. Currently, it has more than 12,000 students in nine faculties, two four-year applied schools, three two-year vocational schools, including the School of English Language, and five graduate schools. Among them there are international students from 46 countries. One-fourth of the Bilkent faculty is international, coming from 40 different countries. According to ISI Citations Indexes, Bilkent continuously ranks first among universities in Turkey and ranks high internationally in the same measure. Main Projects / Activities

Bimeras currently employs 9 persons. Budgetary resources available in a year mainly come from private individuals' contributions in cash and in kind, who are founders of Bimeras. Other sources include sales of publications and performance tickets, donations and from project based sponsors. Bimeras has numerous project based international partners. Modalities of action involve the tour management and production management of select local choreographers. Mission and Objectives

Bimeras Cultural Foundation was founded by artists and scholars of live arts in order to promote and enhance international collaborations in the field and to identify the problems in the cultural and artistic realm and to seek solutions to these. For about a decade, it has supported the international education and presentation of local artists and organized the creation of their work as co-productions with partners from abroad. It has gained invaluable experience and network from its undertakings and with the international projects it is a part of, it will also help Turkish culture to be valued and supported.
