Do cultural and religious differences matter in the socio-economic integration of Dutch-Moroccan citizens.

Due to the pandemic, our entire lives significantly have been influenced and changed. While being a wellbeing emergency, the pandemic has likewise brought into glaring difference the gendered imbalances that exist in our social orders with vulnerable communities being at the cutting edge.

Using the opportunity of World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, the online lecture about the contribution of Cultural Diversity in Dialogue and Development will be organized in French.

This National Network Activity has been organized by the Anna Lindh Foundation Dutch Network Member New Women Connectors in the framework of the Anna Lindh Foundation Virtual Marathon for Dialogue in the EuroMed.

The main theme of this expert lecture is to answer the main question "Do cultural and religious differences matter in the socio-economic integration of Dutch-Moroccan citizens?"

Speakers:

Ms. Habiba Chafai - PhD in Language Sciences. Specializes in Moroccan society and culture: the position of women with a focus on gender-based violence

Ms. Razan Ismail - Member of Migration Expert Group at European Commission, Intercultural Trainer, Integration and inclusion Advocate
