The project was organised by the Anna Lindh Foundation National Network member ATAC - Association Tunisienne d'Actions Culturelles (Tunisia) in the framework of the Anna Lindh Foundation Intercultural Cities Programme.

ATAC has major previous experience in implementing intercultural projects within the ALF network which was used as a basis for envisaged Travelling Digital Cinema tour and workshops during the Open Day of Celebrating The International Day of Tolerance on November 16th.

The main objective of the project is to encourage intercultural awareness and mutual understanding among the young people of the Euro-Med region, through innovative educational methods and approaches so they respect culture specifics and exchange common values.

The project has been divided in 3 stages:

  • The planning stage

Two focus groups with teachers and educators of the primary, preparatory and secondary levels were gathered in order to have interactive, conversational group interviews as a part of data collection strategy. These groups would enable teachers and members of the association to improve their reflective practice, receive constructive feedback, and recognise possible risk factors.

  • The action stage

    • A digital travelling cinema tour
    • Celebrating Tolerance day
    • Seminars with local ALF Network Members
  • The evaluation stage

The impact of the cultural project will be comprehended and demonstrated.

Language of the sessions: Arabic (Tunisian)
