Heads of Networks meeting in Gothenburg Sweden

The Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) organised, on 12 - 14 June, the Heads of Networks meeting, in Gothenburg Sweden in the framework of the Sweden's presidency of the EU Council.

The meeting was hosted by the ALF Swedish Head of Network, the National Museums of World Culture, Sweden with the support of the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting was attended by 2 representatives from the Board of Governors, 8 Advisory Council and 41 Heads of Networks coordinators.

The meeting was structured around 3 plenary sessions and 4 working groups. The main discussions of the meeting were related to the Med Forum which after the cancellation in 2020 due to the pandemic, is expected to take place in 2025. Several parallel working groups were led by the ALF Secretariat and the Heads of Networks to brainstorm on the different dynamics, themes and formats of the next Med Forum. In addition, the meeting was an opportunity to take a stock of the different ALF programmes carried out, lessons learned and to discuss ways to improve them. Two parallel Networks labs sessions took place, where Heads of Networks were invited to participate and share their expertise on intercultural dialogue and diversity and on Values of collaborations and how to maintain healthy and long-term relations with your partners.
