On 28 March 2023, the Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) organised the second Heads of Networks (HoNs) meeting for 2023. The meeting took place online and was attended by 36 Head of Network coordinators representing 26 Networks of the ALF. This meeting also facilitated a networking session with both HoNs and members of the ALF via Airmeet.
The meeting's opening session was a thorough presentation and discussion of the second cycle of the Network Engagement scheme (NES), the Foundation's funding scheme to support intercultural coordination actions of the ALF National Networks. The session was focused on introducing the new elements and explaining what is new with cycle two.
The second session of the meeting took on board the Network Management discussions that crystalised during the Marseille HoNs meeting of January 2023 and achieved a level of agreement, via a voting process, to some general guiding principles when it comes to the production of an information kit and membership management. During the session it was also agreed what is still to be discussed and refined during the upcoming HoNs meetings of May and June 2023 to obtain comprehensive and overarching guidelines for all the different areas of Network Management in due course.
