We are celebrating the diversity and richness of the Mediterranean while strengthening ties between its two shores.

In the framework of the #MediterraneanDay celebrated every 28 of November, and in coordination with the Union for the Mediterranean Secretariat, the Anna Lindh Foundation is coordinating a unique celebration of the Mediterranean and its diversity at a community level with the participation of civil society organisation from 25 EuroMed countries, who will organise 36 community-based free musical performances (non-profit-no ticket sales) in tandem with Local Administrations that will take place simultaneously in the different countries on the 28th of November 2022.

The Foundation is also launching a regional campaign in coordination with the the awarded Civil Society Organisations to contribute to creating a unique momentum to embrace the diversity of the region and to promote intercultural exchanges by harnessing the enthusiasm of the members of the ALF 41 Civil Society National Networks.

In the same way, this call seeks to get Civil Society Organisations to work in tandem with Local Administrations, as a way to empower them locally and to promote the principles and values of the intercultural dialogue at a grassroots scale and to broader audiences.

Moreover, the ALF Secretariat is organising a special celebration at its Headquarters including a multicultural music performance and a logo projection at the von Gerber house building located at the corniche of Alexandria.
