Desert Bloom and URI- MENA (The United Religions Initiative - Middle East & North Africa) distributed Food packages and Clothes to needy families in Madaba. With the help of the Coordinator of Green Schools in Madaba, they were led to the families in need. They reached 25 families including refugees from Sudan, Syria and Palestine.
Desert Bloom foster sustainable development through People Empowerment, Environmental Protection, Intercultural Understanding, Volunteerism and Global Citizenship Education, while the United Religions Initiative - Middle East & North Africa (URI MENA) aims at promoting enduring and daily interfaith cooperation to end religiously motivated violence and to create cultures of peace, justice and healing for the earth and all living beings.
