"Climate change is a problem, migration is not. The problem is their management," said the main speaker Dr. Sarah Walker at 8th Global learning conference, that took place on November 8th, 2023, in Slovenia.
At the conference held within the framework of the project "Beyond Tales" was organized by the Humanitas and Umanotera association, and the booklet "Once upon a time was a home" was also presented. It collects the stories of people who have faced migration due to climate change, or are currently facing it. Among more than 60 participants were educators working in formal and informal education and representatives of civil society organizations and state institutions which proves that climate migration is a topic very relevant at the moment.
