Support Youth Leaders SYL in Jordan recently hosted a transformative course titled "Fighting Islamophobia & Preventing Far-Right Extremism!" This impactful initiative brought together young leaders from around the world, including Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Ukraine, France, Denmark, Armenia, Turkey, Germany, the Netherlands, and Greece.

The "Fighting Islamophobia and Preventing the Rise of Far-Right Extremism" project was crafted to empower youth workers by sharpening their critical thinking, enhancing digital skills, and deepening their understanding of legal frameworks essential for combating Islamophobia. During the program, participants engaged in rich intercultural debates, insightful discussions, and practical workshops aimed at dismantling Islamophobia and countering far-right extremism.

As part of this project, the team collaborated on creating evidence-based interventions, impactful videos, and a comprehensive handbook, all designed to explore and address the factors fuelling anti-Islamic sentiment in Europe. These resources are now key tools in the broader effort to challenge stereotypes and foster inclusivity across the continent.

Co-funded by the European Union, this project highlights the strength of international cooperation in tackling global challenges and building connections across cultures.
