As we reflect on our journey since our establishment in 1996, ADHD Malta remains dedicated to our mission of supporting and empowering individuals affected by ADHD and related conditions. Our roots trace back to a group of concerned parents of young ADHD teens, who sought not only help but also accurate information about the condition that was often misunderstood. Over the past 27 years, we have built a vibrant community focused on education, advocacy, and support. We understand that living with ADHD can present unique challenges, and it is our goal to provide the necessary tools and resources for individuals and families to navigate these challenges together.
Our efforts focus on three key areas: 1. Support : We offer a welcoming space for individuals and families to connect, share their stories, and find encouragement. Whether it’s through group sessions, workshops, or one-on-one support, we aim to create a network where no one feels alone in their journey.
2. Education: Knowledge is power. Through informative talks, resources, and articles, we strive to educate both the ADHD community and the general public about the realities of living with ADHD. By dispelling myths and sharing evidence-based information, we foster a better understanding and acceptance of ADHD within our society.
3. Advocacy : Our commitment to advocating for the rights of individuals with ADHD drives us to engage with policymakers and community stakeholders. By amplifying the voices of those with ADHD, we work towards creating a more inclusive environment that recognizes and respects their needs. At ADHD Malta, we believe in the strength of lived experiences.
By sharing stories of resilience and triumph, we illuminate the path for others while fostering empathy and understanding in our community. This commitment to inclusiveness enriches our organization and fuels our collective mission to make a positive and lasting impact.
As we move forward, we invite you to join us in our journey. Whether you are an individual with ADHD, a parent, a friend, or simply someone who believes in supporting a diverse community, there are numerous ways to get involved.
Together, we can continue to promote awareness and acceptance, ensuring that the voices of ADHDers are heard loud and clear. Thank you for being part of the ADHD Malta family. We look forward to sharing more stories, resources, and opportunities in the coming months.
