The University of Béjaïa, established in October 1983, is a multidisciplinary public institution. The University of Bejaia has succeeded in setting up training courses which are increasingly in line with the world of work. This approach has allowed it to be more responsive to the human resources and skills needs of its economic partners.

Broadly open to its socio-economic environment, the University of Béjaïa has continuously worked to encourage sustainable development and be in harmony with the challenges of globalization. The University-Enterprise Partnership has become one of the priority themes in a rapidly changing economic environment.
