General Information
Slovenian Society for Aesthetics is a non-profit organization devoted to the study and promotion of aesthetics and related areas of theoretical reflection that focus on art and culture.
It consists of members who elect an Executive Committee, the President, and the Secretary both of whom are mebmers of the five-member EC).
Society is financed on the basis of specific projects (colloquia).
Each year it organizes two international colloquia, one in spring and the other in automn. These colloquia are mainly financed by governmental ministries (culture, higher education).
The Society is a collective member of the International Assocation for Aesthetics.
In September 2006 it will host the III Mediterranean Congress for Aesthetics.

The strengthening and the proliferation of aesthetics in the national and the international settings.
