That's MasterPeace!
Our MODEL
The MasterPeace network is run by local well-established NGOs/Social Enterprises in 40+ countries (of which many in the Euro-Mediterreanean region), who are licensed to operate as a ‘MasterPeace Club’ in their locality. They are
facilitated by a highly motivated core team based in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
We offer a unique platform to a large community of changemakers, social entrepreneurs, volunteers, bloggers, journalists, musicians, entrepreneurs and active citizens to connect and support each other with taking action.
We monitor and evaluate the projects of our MasterPeace Clubs yearly.
OUR STRUCTURE
The model of MasterPeace is an ‘upside-down pyramid’. Our MasterPeace Clubs are independent and in the lead, facilitated globally and regionally by a core team alongside a wide pool of talent-bankers, board members and experts.
MasterPeace Clubs are set up on the values of positivity and impartiality. Being a part of the grassroots movement mobilizes them to run at least 4 projects per year with true local impact. In this way, the movement can be seen as an inspirational knowledge network of passionate changemakers who constantly motivate each other and co-create for local social impact.
OUR WORK
We focus on specific SDG's ; SDG 4 – Quality Education, SDG 5 – Gender Equality, SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities, SDG 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions
At the core team of MasterPeace we work with a staff of 10 paid- people and ca 70 volunteers who support us on project bases.
Since our 10 years of experience, we have met many true young leaders who have incredible passion and drive towards building peace in their communities. Together, we have

In MasterPeace, we believe in ‘values’ and in ‘creating value’. That’s why MasterPeace is funded by value-driven partners such as companies and family funds. Together, we create
campaigns, concepts and funding that enables all the licensed NGO's to grow their local action and make their impact truly sustainable.

Our VISION
- We believe that the world has 7 billion talents rather than 7 billion issues; Therefore, we use the SOFT POWER of music, art, sports and play to mobilize and inspire young people.
- We believe that there is more that we have in common than what separates us; Therefore, we organize DIALOGUE within and between communities and stakeholders.
- We believe that the lack of perspective triggers polarization, extremism and conflict; Therefore, we create PERSPECTIVE through capacity-building and leadership training for young
people.
Our CORE VALUES
Positivity, impartiality, co-creation and “walk the talk”
In 2020, MasterPeace implemented 410 projects through its local MasterPeace Clubs with direct impact on local communities. These projects were focused on three core activities, all helping to create a sustainable future with less conflict: 1) Mobilize, inspire and connect young local talents via music, art and play; 2) Organize dialogue and bring all local stakeholders together; 3) Create perspective through leadership trainings, capacity-building programs and starting up social enterprises.
We also run several joint European and Euro-Mediterranean projects with our partners.
Our strategy is to connect networks with networks and
to leverage local knowledge by co-creating
with our Clubs and regional resource mobilization teams.
We use the power of arts to inspire, mobilise, grow self-esteem, help in reconciliation and healing with oneself and “the other”. We have a strong product portfolio of storytelling, visualization and street art, rap and spoken word related to the first type of activity - using music, art and play - has grown. We have a big network of schools and partners in the Netherlands, next to our global partners.
At MasterPeace we believe in the power of co-creation and the power of networks. Together we can achieve more social impact.
