Live Room is a project of human development by the creation of a physical/digital space to experiment, promote, share and enjoy free artistic expression. The project began on November 2015 and has been registered in Morocco as an association in march 2018. Live Room count in his team nine employees and create yearly indirect job for over 20 artists/freelancers. The association turns with an annual budget of 150K euros which is supported by international organizations like Drosos Foundation and local ones like l’Institut Français, The American Language Center but also with private donators and public institutions. Live Room’s main projects are: LABO which is one of the leading cultural centers in Tangier for experimentation and artistic production/events. We also offer 6 annual training programs for youth and kids and create over 20 artistic events per year. Main partners: Drosos, AIDA, Institut Français, ALC, Lerchundi, APDN, Wilaya, Veolia, etc.

- LABO Center: equiped studios and venue in the center of Tangier offering free activities for youth and children. - LABO’s sociocultural programs for creative skills development (6 programs, 120h/year each) - Four Artistic residencies per year for musicians - Professional productions of contemporary danse and theater creations, short movies and short docs - Urban Art Week Festival: Biggest urban festival in the region - BlaBla+: Interactive series/night show for awareness towards social problems and gender injuries. - Live Room Show: Multidisciplinary show treating a social theme (one per trimester).
Since its creation, Live Room has set itself the goal of creating a large network, first local, national and then international, of emerging artists. Moreover, through its LABO center located in Tangier (Detroit of Gibraltar), Live Room aspires to develop the connection Africa-Europe, but also to contain immigrant artists passing from the south through Europe. By accessing your network, we offer you the possibility of accessing our databases, coordinating your projects, receiving your artists in our studios and sharing with your partners our expertise in the organization of cultural actions with young people.
By joining the Anna Lindh Foundation network, we want to develop our network internationally and especially in Germany and the MENA region. We also aspire to forge new partnerships with cultural and artistic institutions from your network and promote our artistic productions while welcoming others.
