The purpose of IPCP is to enhance international understanding and friendship through educational, cultural and humanitarian activities involving the exchange of ideas and experiences directly among peoples of different countries and diverse cultures.
IPCP works on :
- strengthening of European integration in different geographical areas;
- active citizenship and citizens' participation;
- fostering of equal opportunities and young people;
- sustainable economic development;
- employment policy, quality of work and social inclusion
The IPCP's working method is based on:
- decentralized and multilateral cooperation: cooperation between local, national and international partners;
- fostering of partnerships: partners exchange best practices and create common projects to reach common benefits;
- technical assistance and training addressed to local authorities, associations and NGOs (capacity building).
It does this through the exchange of experience, ideas and information and supports members to strengthen the quality and effectiveness of the sector.
All our projects are published at www.ipcp.eu as well.
As an organization active both on national and international level, the IPCP will contribute the network and in particular:
IPCP offers a range of services to members in order to assist them in developing projects and increasing the networking. IPCP also promotes the sharing of best practice across its members. This is complemented by a range of other communications, including a variety of online and e-communications, all designed to keep members up to date with news and issues that are of relevance to the sector.
