The mission of the Institute is to promote new research in field of Slavonic cultures, which is defined broadly to include a variety of research activities from Slavonic languages and literature teaching to intercultural studies on religion, dialogue and common heritage.
Within the last 10 years Institute of Slavonic Philology at the Jagiellonian University has organized and co-organized many projects such as:
