Our main objectives follow the two lines of action that we set:
in civic education: Our objective is to continue sentitizing students to the importance of getting involved in their communities and to fighting gender-based violence, and to empower them to understand the world around them through providing media(particularly digital) literacy.
In research is to continue studying phenomena related to identity in relation with gender, minorities and migration.
-Workshops for university students on Gender-based violence, civic education and media literacy.
-Women's History Month (every March of each year)
-Research and publication:
in research: we do research and organize conferences on minorities (2004, 2005), public space (2006), media (2010) gender equality ( 2011, 2013) and migration (2013).
We publish books on the same topics (Minority Matters 2005, Representing minorities 2006, The World as A Global Agora Criticalperspectives on Public Space 2008, North African Women After the Arab Spring in the Eye of the Storm 2016, Ikhtilaf Journal of Critical Humanities and Social Studies Issue 1 in 2018, Issue 2 in 2019.
We hope to expand the network to include the university community and spread the values and aims of the Anna Lindh Foundation among a large population of students who are more and more absorbed in the virtual world of games and social media.
we need to strengthen our network and connect with people who share our aims and visions, and also find possible partners for research and civic action.
