Mission and Objectives

ECUME is a reference in the field of the cultural cooperation in the Mediterranean . . ECUME contributes to the development and the perpetution in the cultural exchange between the cities of the mediterranaen world . . ECUME is an originator , producer and diffuser of cultural and educational projects in the fiels of arts in the whole mediterranean countries . .ECUME play a central role of ressource by developing its program of cooperation for the artistic education of three networks of cooperation : the network of fine arts schools , schools of music and schools of dramatic arts .

Main Projects / Activities

Since 1992, SCUM organizes the cycle of Songs sacred in the Mediterranean in several Mediterranean cities • Since 1997, in partnership with Tunis,ESUME organizes Biennial Mediterranean Arts of Tunis. • ECUME organizes Mediterranean Workshops of Visual Arts in the big cities of the Mediterranean. These workshops gathers a dozen artists during ten days for a residence, followed by an exhibition on a common topic. ECUME carries out each year the Mediterranean Festival of Alexandria (multi-disciplinary )
