Our organisation is a small organisation but had a lot of events and activities. the members are mostly youth workers, students of education, Journalism who serve as a mentor to our volunteers and organise the events. so the active members and the staff are almost 25 people. we collaborate with the Erasmus + in many exchanges and training. we have a partnership with many European organisations, Fondation de France ... we have our accreditation for EVS and the quality label for ESC. last year we hosted in Tunisia 24 EU volunteers and sent to Europe 13 Tunisian. and also we hosted two youth exchange in the desert of Tunisia, approved by Austrian and Germany national agency. our resources for funding are from the membership cards.
Through our various activities, we try to provide opportunities for Tunisian young people so as to take part in national as well as international mobility youth work activities including training courses, seminars, youth exchanges, voluntary work. We also actively seek to involve more young Tunisians in community life locally, nationally and internationally. We strongly believe that such activities would help Tunisian young people build their personality, enhance their sense of solidarity, sharing, tolerance, acceptance of differences, openness, etc
ASED's members have participated in many training on the topic of non-formal learning and we also organized workshops and seminars on this topic at a regional and national level. We want to share our best practices and methods with others, and to enlarge our knowledge by exchanging with other partners during the implementation of our projects. with our European volunteers and the local ones, we had environmental activities such as cleaning the beach, the public garden... we held events to encourage children and youth to read books, we have book clubs, conversation club, language club. we organise some donations campaigns to help the poor families
Through our activities and open events, we try to give the chance to anyone interested in joining us. we give them opportunities to boost their self-esteem and discover new cultures and have rich experience. they have the possibility to acquire new skills or improve some. we share our experience and try to raise awareness among the young people on many topics and issues. the most objective is to prepare the youth to be leaders of tomorrow and be change-makers. from time to time we make an event to present our association and our activities so more people can join us and help us make a change in our community.
We want to join because we are eager to have rich experience in this field in order to know more partners and organise more humanitarian and voluntary projects. and we believe joining will give us such an opportunity to enlarge our knowledge, skills and methods so we can all together work for the same goal. Bring peace and happiness in our communities and help the young people learn through these non-formal learning opportunities.
