General Information
We are a group of scientists and students aiming to improve all disciplines of neuroscience education, mental health awareness, and scientific research in Alexandria. The committee is registered independently as a part of the non-profit organization Child Neurology Caring Society in Alexandria (CNCS-A). Nevertheless, the committee’s work is independant and spans all disciplines of neuroscience and not just the pediatric aspect. The board follows a centralized structure; one President, up to two Vice-Presidents, and ten officers that include professors and students. Officers are in charge of the following three divisions: Academic, Marketing, and Human Relations.  We partner with Alexandria University, AISEC, and Bibliotheca Alexandrina to develop curricula and offer self-funded workshops, seminars, educational sessions, competitions, and film discussions for the general public.

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

We are the only Neuroscience-focused group in Alexandria, and the most popular in Egypt. Alexandria University does not offer an undergraduate Neuroscience program, and so we aim to fill that gap by offering guidance and education to students.

Why do you want to join the ALF Network?

Our ambitious projects require wide collaborative efforts, and so the ALF Network provides an excellent platform to reach out to other communities and groups with similar goals in order to achieve them.
