August 21, 2024, Coalition of Youth Organizations SEGA held a Round Table with key stakeholders on youth policies and implementation of the Law on Youth Participation and Youth Policies in RS. Macedonia. SEGA presented the findings of the Impact Analysis of the Law on Youth Participation and Youth Policies and discussed all the challenges in applying the Law more than 4 years after its adoption.
At this event, most of the participants were young parliamentarians. Today, we received strong support and understanding for the needs of amendments to the Law on Youth Participation and Youth Policies, which we have been advocating for more than 1 year with other organizations through a process of consultation with all stakeholders.
The purpose of the round table was to provide final findings and conclusions that indicate the necessity of amendments and additions to the ZMUMP in order to improve its implementation.
The round table was realized within the framework of the project "Youth participation for strong and sustainable development of the community", financed by the European Union, and implemented by the Coalition of youth organizations SEGA in partnership with SOS Children's Village North Macedonia, Volunteer Center Skopje and Women's Association Forum Tetovo.
