Mission and Objectives

a) Development and promotion of the Greek cultural education (music, visual arts, theatre, etc.), in coordination with current European trends.
b) Collaboration with music ensembles and other art groups in Greece and abroad, as well as with single artists. c) Rendering artistic aid to public or private art organizations which serve the goals of the Society as to the better international promotion of Greek and European art.
d) Organizing seminars/lectures and other artistic gatherings that may contribute to the Society’s goals.

PRAXIS is a youth non-governmental organization in Serres, in North Greece which has activities in culture, media and environmental fields. It was founded in 1995 in order to offer a broad spectrum of cultural activities to the town youth and involve them in cultural issues.PRAXIS aims to create international opportunities for youth development - to strengthen dialogue between authorities and youth groups,  to improve the job opportunities of young people.PRAXIS works as a sending and a hosting EVS organization since 1998 (HEI n. 2013-GR-19) and co-operates with the municipal cultural center of Serres, several Greek universities, local University, UNESCO and other institutions.In radio “Rodon fm”, volunteers of PRAXIS have their programme with current news and informationElectronically Campaigns via social media on sensitive social issues cooperating with international organizations on the “international days” and promote via radio spots on air with social messages international and European campaigns. Young people express their ideas, music via radio show and broadcasts via blogs and e-magazines.For the implementation of its activities, PRAXIS involves several active volunteers with high expertise on the design and delivery of such actions. The team includes:• Project manager with over 15 years of experience in mobility EU projects (both hosting and sending)• Project writer and manager with over 7 years of experience in designing, writing and implementing EU funded projects• Legal advisor• Financial advisor• IT expert• Volunteers with experience in delivering educational programs, etc.

Mission and Objectives

The mission of Praxis is to provide opportunities at the pan-European and Mediterranean level to all young people without discrimination, prejudice or exclusion. The continuously developing activities of Praxis are based on the philosophy of “Initiative-Activity- Cooperation”. PRAXIS is NGO which has activities in culture, media and environmental. Organize, cooperate, and support events and Electronically Campaigns via internet social media on sensitive social issues cooperating with international organization for the “International and European Days”, Radio Campaigns with social messages, ideas, and music via radio show via blogger. Youth Information Center informing young people. The volunteers and participants are not isolated from the professionals, from whom they certainly learn, but their roles are clearly creative and supportive at the activities of the experts by working as a team with them in the same space. Thus, they acquire non-formal education, which may help them in their own future professional course. The target group is young people from the local society.  In order to support young people, PRAXIS fosters on the one hand the cooperation between schools and youth organizations and on the other hand trains a European youth competence team, which transfers knowledge and experience.

Prosxima Dance Company works as a collective of artists, allowing for diversity to emerge and be integrated in the creative process. Its productions vary in context, structure and choreographic style and they have been presented in different performing platforms such as museums, theatre stages, industrial and open spaces, etc. The artistic direction is shared between Maria Koliopoulou and Dimitra Kritikidi, both graduates of the Laban Center for Movement and Dance. Prosxima Dance Company is based on the ideal of utilizing the dance medium to foster communication within the wider community. Functioning as a melting pot for collaborations which are cross-cultural and bring together different artistic media, the company has introduced fresh approaches to trends in choreography and contemporary dance for the Greek audiences.

The Public Benefit Enterprise of Culture Environment Youth and Athletics of the Municipality of Ioannina (KEPPNADI) is the largest and most important cultural organisation in the region of Epirus Greece. It consists of the Cultural Centre of Ioannina, the Municipal Conservatory, the Schools of Modern and Traditional Dance, the Visual Arts Workshop, the daily Centres of Creative Activity for Children and the Intercultural Center for Social Integration “Akadimia”. The main axis of the Enterprise activity is divided between events organisation and management and art education. The Enterprise manages two main venues (with capacity of 650 and 200 seated respectively) and hosts all kinds of activities (conferences, music concerts, film screenings, art exhibitions, dance performances, live theatre etc). The Enterprise is mainly funded by the Municipality of Ioannina. Other sources of income are school fees and ticket sales. The annual budget of the Enterprise for the year 2022 is 1.750.000,00€ . The organisation is managed by a Board with eleven (11) members. Staff is comprised of 168 of various job roles.
The Enterprise has a long and fruitful collaboration with national and local authorities (Ministry of Culture, Prefectureof Epirus, University of Ioannina etc ), foreign Embassies and Cultural Institutions in Greece (Embassy of the Czech Republic, Embassy of the Republic of Slovakia, Embassy of Israel, Embassy of Azerbaijan, The Goethe Institute, The Hellenic American Union, Italian Cultural Institute in Athens etc), NGO's (UNHCR Greece, IOM Greece, Open Society Foundation etc)

Mission and Objectives

The mission of KEPPNADI is to educate the citizens of Ioannina in Arts and Culture and to organise cultural events in the Municipality of Ioannina,
Through the past years the Municipality of Ioannina has grown to become one of the main city hosts for refugees. Responding to a high demand for sufficient and tailor made services for the local population, the Enterprise founded on January 2021 the Intercultural Center for Social Integration “Akadimia” in an effort to provide assistance with interpretation services/cultural mediation to all the Municipal Services and their Bodies as well as organize social, cultural, sports events and other actions of cultural osmosis.

Main Projects / Activities

Annual music Festivals. Weekly film screenings, Art exhibitions, seasonal events, conferences about history, book presentations about politics and society.

KEPPNADI can provide the technical know how and infrastucture to host or organise important events which can further the collective discussions in any given topic.

Rhodes Centre for Historical and Social Research - Rhodes Project SCE is a not-for-profit, eight members, social cooperative enterprise governed by a three members administrative committee. It doesn't employ staff permanently but according to the operational needs. The budget for 2015 was roughly 4.000 Euros; while for 2016 it will rise at 20.000 Euros. Funding sources are research projects, commissioned directly or acquired through partnerships with universities. Additionally, interested organisations order policy analyses. Main operation of Rhodes Project SCE is the conduct of research, surveys and studies and its dissemination through social media or conferences. It also organises yearly a colloquium for academics and professionals from across Europe. Rhodes Project SCE collaborates closely with the Department of Primary Education of the University of Aegean, CFAPS centre of the University of Teesside, the European Group for the Study of Deviance and Social Control and the Marc de Montalembert foundation.
Mission and Objectives

Our mission is to highlight the societal particularities of the multicultural environment of Rhodes island, Greece in its history and present as well as form socially sustainable ideas for the future.
Towards that mission our objectives are:
1. The conduct of scientific research in humanities and social sciences in Rhodes.
2. The facilitation of scientific research in Rhodes of researchers from abroad.
3. The facilitation of networking of Rhodian researchers with counterparts from abroad.
4. The participation of Rhodes Project SCE in networks of research, technology and innovation.
5. The widest possible dissemination of scientific research from and in Rhodes.
6. The alleviation of unemployment of social scientists in Greece.

- The history of Dodecanesians who fought in Italy during the allied operation Oliva.
2. Colonial state, society and the underground economy in Italian Rhodes 1912-1943
- A research conducted with the University of Teesside on the way that black economies support state building processes.

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

Rhodes Project SCE will enrich the Greek Network of Anna Lindh foundation with an innovative structure that conceptualises the production of scientific knowledge in humanities and social sciences beyond the traditional academia. 
Being both an enterprise and a non-for-profit legal person, Rhodes Project SCE can successfully balance in two sectors, giving by that renewed insights in their collaboration and consequantly at the civil society. At the same time due to its mission and objectives Rhodes Project SCE can support the cause of Anna Lindh foundation by contributing to that new tools, either financial or operational.
Finally, Rhodes Project SCE will support the admission of its strategic partners, namely universities, organisations and foundations in the UK, Italy and Greece in the Anna Lindh network.

Why do you want to join the ALF Network?

Due to the mission of Rhodes Project SCE it fits naturally in the Anna Lindh Foundation network.
At the same time the aforementioned objectives of Rhodes Project SCE will only be better served through the vast network of Anna Lindh foundation.
Rhodes, is a "drop" of the Euro-Mediterranean ocean. Therefore, it contains all its ingredients but in small quantities. We as "students" of Rhodes will be greatly benefitted by being able to see the wider image; namely the actual Euro-Mediterranean dialogue.
