General Information

Youth Academy Sport Club Association is a non-profit non-governmental organisation working for generalizing daily sports and strategic entrepreneurship policies, innovation and youth employment habit among youngsters aged between 15-40. For this aim our association uses the desire of differentiation of youngsters and sports and projects as the tool. The main sport branches that our association has been applying are dragon boat, horse riding and climbing.

Mission and Objectives

Correspondingly, our association works in the field of advocacy for youth rights in different fields. Through these two main areas, we keep close contact with other association working for close aims in local, regional and international level. Our structure is being manage and ran by volunteers. Our core volunteer team runs this communication process according to their interest areas. In addition, Turkish Red Crescent Eskişehir City Branch is also a powerful partner for our association. Most of our managing volunteers worked for TRC Eskişehir Youth Department before. This close relation improves the quality of our activities. Youth Academy Sport Club Association mainly applies project based advocacy work. Also, we apply sport events for our volunteers.

Main Projects / Activities

Through different European Union funds, we have been implementing Erasmus+, European Solidarity Corps (ESC) volunteering, and European Delegation funds. We believe that youth work and capacity building for them is an important asset of shaping our future. Projects, networks, multi-cultural interactions are also the way to increase dialogue between different cultures. This small steps may turn into bigger collaborations. Therefore, we have been implementing ESC projects continuously. Currently, we are also implementing another networking project (Hippotherapy Turkey) funded by EU Delegation to Turkey under "Support to Civil Society Networks in Turkey". We are creating a network between organizations, and professionals for establishing a hippotherapy network in Turkey. In addition, we are doing advocacy for a hippotherapy legislation accepted by Ministry of Health in Turkey.

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

System and Generation, and the Association of Civil Society and Development Institute (ACSDI) are experienced organization in Turkey. The experience and potential they have is obviously the reason that they were found qualified to be a part of Turkish Network. In addition to their valuable works, Youth Academy Sports Club Association can bring another perspective with its young, ambitious team. Both of the organizations do not work in sports related areas. Considering the realities of our new world, problems caused by malnutrition, obesity, regarding the habits of the modern world, the numbers of people who suffer from various diseases. Due to eating habits, and cultures, malnutrition based obesity, and related diseases can be seen often in Mediterranean cultures. Youth Academy might fill in that expertise of the network in Turkey as well as different funding mechanisms.

Why do you want to join the ALF Network?

As Youth Academy Sports Club Association, we understand the value, and power of the networking. This is also why we decided that a network for hippotherapy in Turkey is needed for implementation of professional hippotherapy activities, and sustainability. Therefore, on the topics that we have been working such as youth empowerment, culture, policy advocacy, disabled people. We believe that being a part of ALF will be contribute to widen our vision, increase the impact of our works.

General Information
Young Peace Initiative (GBİ) is an initiative started by youths that aims to be beneficial to mankind regardless of religion, language, race and sex in order to contribute to the provision of the world peace which is the common goal of the whole mankind. As 'the Youth in the 21st century', different from the previous generation that youths used to explain themselves by breaking things, we intend to be 'the voice of the youth that needs to be heard for peace'. We regard it as a goal for us to contribute to peace not only by complaining with our never-ending energy for peace and our souls but also with our constructive projects and events that create alternatives. We want to see that the strong and valuable voice of the youth for peace doesn't fit into squares and slogans. We disapprove of violation of fundamental human rights and freedom in any part of the world. We oppose to all minds driving  innocent people into cruel and criminal ones regardless of their religion, race and nationality. We will stand against all the ideas and systems that provides an environment for this. As YPI,we know that striving for universal peace is like the desire for mortality which is indeed tough to satisfy.Yet,as the history indicates this desire is one of the crucial factors leading to advancement of mankind as well. In this respect, we believe that any experience gained to establish universal peace will be a 'plus' for the common section.
Mission and Objectives

Our goal is to encourage everyone and every segment of the society to live in peace by showing what we have in common and, beyond societies that 'tolerate differences', to contribute to the formation of those that 'enjoy and embrace them'. Our strength comes from the voice of our global conscience that embraces people and doesn't value one person above another. This language belongs to Martin Luther King, Mahatma Gandhi, Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi and many other world peace envoys.
Young Peace Initiative (GBİ) is an initiative that aims to contribute to the provision of the world peace, encourage everyone, initially youths to take initiative of doing best for peace and  tries to increase awareness  of society in the fields of social, cultural and educational aspects. Also, it aims to form dialogue platforms to contribute social peace and support societies development in terms of social, educational and economic sphere by providing to internalize peace culture as a whole and moreover, it targets to make a major contribution to protect fundamental human rights and freedom in any part of the world within the scope of universal rules of law
We, as the Young Peace Initiative Association which supports universal peace, believe that war has to be abondoned .We try to do our best with our heart about this situation. No matter how different or similar they are ,no matter who they are , no matter what religion or sect they have, we condemn all the people who create oppression and atrocities to the innocent people. We want all painful events to come to the conclusion. We believe that people who speak different languages ,believe in different religions but share the same sky can illuminate the common path with compassion, mercy and tolerance.

General Information
15 volunteers -Projects, volunteers and trainings-Within 2 years ,As a youth association, we had many trainings and actions. For example one of our members had a training of trainers on ‘sexual and reproductive health of vulnerable groups like most-at-risk young people and adolescent’ organized by ICC (International Children Center). And we also had many meetings on the subject of how can strengthen the youth and we had a training of entrepreneurship by KOSGEB (Republic of Turkey Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization) and eventually we could manage to establish an agency so we could also manage to press a magazine which is really helpful to inform public on social issues.
Mission and Objectives

Strengthen the situation of youth in Çerkezköy and the whole region of Tekirdağ in more or less every field: strengthen their rights, their positions in society, in work, in culture and arts by education and common activities.

Main Projects / Activities

Besides from these we also work with many other youth organizations like ‘Community Volunteers Foundation’ on the subject of human rights and discrimination, for example we attended’ living/human library’ in Ankara and in Istanbul. The Human Library is an innovative method designed to promote dialogue, reduce prejudices and encourage understanding.
The main characteristics of the project are to be found in its simplicity and positive approach. Visitors to a Human Library are given the opportunity to speak informally with “people on loan”; this latter group being extremely varied in age, sex and cultural background.
The Human Library enables groups to break stereotypes by challenging the most common prejudices in a positive and humorous manner. It is a concrete, easily transferable and affordable way of promoting tolerance and understanding.
