Our organizational structure depends on teamwork. There is two full time staff to coordinate the voluntary work. When needed we consult specialists to form the work net. The budgetary resources based on projects are Global Fund For Women 15.200€, Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism 7.850€, Mama Cash 9.350€, Matra Kap 10.618€, Kagider 18000€. Project grants and membership fee are our principal sources of funding.

General Information
garajistanbul is a contemporary performing arts space that was opened in January 2007 with the leadership of Övül Avkıran and Mustafa Avkıran. Located in Beyoğlu, Istanbul, under Galatasaray garage, it is 600m2 empty space which was once a carpark, and designed so that it can be re-designed by each artist who comes to produce work inside. To realize its mission and objectives, garajistanbul has been structured as an art cooperative non-governmental organization. It has been organized from bottom to top by widening its supporters stage by stage from artists to members, individual and institutional supporters, and finally state and international networks. It has transformed from “an only artistic entrepreneurship” to the “cultural transformation project” in which around 200 performing arts professionals are included, through the contributions of 54 individual supporters, 36 institutional supporters, and of local government and state ministries.
Mission and Objectives

The mission of garajistanbul is to be a local formation of the universal contemporary performing arts and develop cultural transformation model with its multiple, democratic and independent structure.
The objectives are:
a) to create an innovative, provocative, comfortable and dynamic center for the presentation of local and international contemporary performing arts productions.
b) to create an independent and umbrella center that brings together “accumulated” productions that have been performed abroad so that they could stand united in their country and enables the sustainability and continuity of productions of the independent performing groups/artists.
c) to create a new design, performance and audience culture through its multi-purpose architectural design, dynamic infrastructure and high quality of technical equipments and empty space.
d) to be a meeting point for artists from different disciplines, for audiences from different cultures, languages and regions.
e) to create a meeting and interaction space from Anatolia to garajistanbul, from garajistanbul to Europe; from Europe to garajistanbul, from garajistanbul to Anatolia.
f) to encourage Turkish and European contemporary performing arts professionals for international co-productions, collaborations and for establishing sustainable networks between them.
g) to be one of the main actors in the project of “Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture.”

General Information
Founded by Garanti Bank- a leading Turkish bank and active sponsor of the arts- Garanti Gallery (GG) is the only institution in Istanbul with an exclusive focus on the exhibition of design-work. It was being opened in August 2003 and had more than 125,000 visitors in 17 exhibitions. The core team has 2 employees. But the services of a graphics company and a pr company are taken. The 2006 budget for GG is USD 250,000. This budget is shared among the exhibitions. When needed the sponsorship of the cultural institutions (like the consulates/cultural attaches) can be taken. Each year GG realizes 6-8 exhibitions and organizes workshops, lectures, concerts related to those exhibitions. Main partners are “a&b communication” for pr and “BEK” for graphic design.

Garanti Gallery seeks to:
- through exhibitions and other related activities, contribute to the dissemination of internationally discussed design concepts.
- Embrace all disciplines; directly or indirectly relevant to design, which determine the quality of life and environment, with due regard for the effect of design on the quality of life and environment.

Therefore urban studies, architecture, industrial design, graphic design, fashion design etc. make up the main areas of interest for GG. Individual, plural and multidisciplinary examples of these disciplines all find a place at GG.

Soroptimist International is a worldwide organization for women in management and professions, working through service projects to advance human rights and the status of women. -This is an organization that has been committed to advancing the status of women and human rights for all for over 85 years with its 90,000 members in 125 countries and territories serves its local, national and international communities through Awareness, Advocacy and Action. Gaziosmanpasa Club is the local one serves in Ankara-Turkey. There are 31 members. -It has YTL 6.975 (225 YTLx31 members) budget for the year. -Also have fund raising activities such as helding bazaars, brunches,concerts ect.) -soroptimists gives scholarships, provide projects an seminars especially for women and girls.

Main Projects / Activities

Soroptimists implement projects at Club, Union/Region, Federation and international levels to realise the objectives of the Quadrennial Programme Focus which is "Soroptimists go for water"
Each local club is channeling its resources towards at least one major water-related improvement project.
Our club is also doing the same. We are providing clean water sources to the schools and education materials to same schools in order to keep the awarenes alive about water and keeping the sources of clean water safe.
Working together in friendship for a water-related project will boost International Goodwill and Understanding between Soroptimist countries, Unions and Clubs.

GDD is a non-profit humanitarian and development organization founded in 2014 in Istanbul, Turkey under registration number 34-209-183. We aim to address the humanitarian and development needs of vulnerable and refugee around the world. We strive to do this in accordance with international humanitarian principles and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as well as in line with the response and national development plans and officially ISO 9001:2015 certified.
We conduct thorough research on the humanitarian situation in affected areas and release reports through an annual international press conference in multiple languages. We also provide updated briefs on a monthly basis and even daily in emergencies, which are used to create a humanitarian and development response plan. These plans are developed in coordination and partnership with local and donor organizations and are implemented in a quickly and effective manner.
Additionally, we are committed to the long-term impact of our interventions. We evaluate the sustainability of our interventions using GRI standards and assess the social impact of our projects through SROI standards through published reports. This helps us identify recommendations and lessons learned that can be used to improve the design of our future interventions.
till 2023, we Implementation of 2,800 projects in 12 needy areas in partnership with 90 implementing organizations, benefiting 4,584,273 beneficiaries.
