«جامعة سوهاج من الجامعات الإقليمية الوليدة هدفها الاستراتيجيى العام هو تغطية احتياجات سوق العمل المحلى والقومى والإقليمى من الخريجين المؤهلين علمياً وعملياً وكذلك إعداد جيل من العلماء المتميزين القادرين على قيادة عجلة التنمية في كافة المجالات الإنسانية والاجتماعية والعلوم الإنسانية والتطبيقية. ويمتد تاريخ جامعة سوهاج إلى تاريخ إنشاء أول كلية بمدينة سوهاج وهى كلية التربية سنة 1971. وتلا ذلك إنشاء كليات العلوم والآداب و التجارة والطب وكانت هذه الكليات منذ نشأتها تابعة لجامعة أسيوط، ثم أصبحت الكليات الموجودة فى مدينة سوهاج تابعة لجامعة جنوب الوادي عند أنشائها ، وفى 2006 أنشئت جامعة سوهاج لتحتضن جميع الكليات الموجودة فى مدينة سوهاج. وفى الوقت الحالى تضم جامعة سوهاج خمسة عشر كلية هي:

• Interested in knowledge of methods of coordination chemistry and methodology including preparation of complexes and their characterization by UV-Visible spectra, IR, NMR, CHN, conductance, thermal analysis and spectrophotometer determination of the stoichiometry.
• Magnetic Prosperities of complexes and their dependence in solvent composition.
• Bonding in transition metal complexes and crystal field theory.
• Reaction of complexes, coordination equilibria and mechanisms of legend substitution.
• Kinetics and reactivity trends of indicator and laser dye compounds.
• Thermodynamic and transfer properties of ions and their dependence in solvent composition and solvent structure.
• Kinetics of DNA interaction with coordination compounds.
• Design and formation of single crystals of multifunctional systems containing Schiff bases and transition elements.
• I have good knowledge in the use of GC tool for checking the product in catalytic reactions.
• I succeeded to obtain more than 7 single crystals of ligands and 8 complexes of lanthanides during my collaboration with Barcelona and Oviedo universities in Spain and analyze them using X-ray diffraction analysis.
