General Information
PRAGMA is a non-governmental organisation based on democratic principles of governance (the rights to vote and stand for election, openness and transparency) and on gender equality. There are three levels of governance – the Assembly, the Management Board and the President). The Statute of the organisation defines their relationship. There is one person employed full time in the organisation. PRAGMA is funded through international, national and local sources (international organisations, ministries, regional and municipal authorities, foundations, etc.) PRAGMA has partners for implementing its activities in the civil society sector, public institutions, local and national authorities.
Mission and Objectives

Pragma's mission is to promote, develop and improve all aspects of social and health protection of socially disadvantaged and ill persons; initiate cooperation with organisations to make them more available to citizens and to better suit their needs; to facilitate interactions of individuals within their environment; to improve the quality of life of citizens in general through empowerment, education, counselling, research and advocacy.
Pragma's vision is a society where individuals, families and communities have capacities needed for recognising, facing and solving problems, and where state, local and non-profit organisations act together to meet the needs of the citizens.

Main Projects / Activities

For its projects that can be grouped in three programmes (Quality of Housing, Support to Families, Children and Youth, Innovative Social Programmes).
