How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

France Volontaires (and before AFVP) is a member of the French network of the Anna Lindh Foundation since 2008.It is natural that France Volontaires Egypte, committed since 2010 for the development of civic engagement in the country wants to join theEgyptian FAL network.
In a context marked by the changes, reforms and revolutions experienced by Arab societies, but also by the global economic and social crisis which raises new challenges for living together, synergies should be promoted between civil society actors who share same values and work for a common cause.
Through its volunteering spaces in Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia, Lebanon, France Volontaires can encourage and facilitate the networking of volunteering actors in Mediterranean, by placing volunteering as a tool for dialogue and peace for youth whom desire an active participation in the construction of the society.

Why do you want to join the ALF Network?

Through its action and its reflection in the Euro-Mediterranean area, France Volontaires joined the Foundation objectives considering intercultural dialogue as a factor in mobilizing civil society, to enhance the diversity, the promotion of the participation of society in the construction of open and pluralistic democracies, and promoting inclusive and sustainable human development.
In addition, for several years, with their international volunteers for solidarity, France Volontaires supports cultural and artistic cooperation projects in Euro-Mediterranean.
In Egypt, France Volontaires supports such projects since 2003 to raise awareness of alexandrian youth for the Alexandrian, Egyptian and Mediterranean Heritage in partnership with the Centre d'Etudes Alexandrines and cooperation between Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur and Alexandria.
