From 2nd – 7th July 2024, Povod team was on a study visit of "Inclusion in Actions" in Konak municipality of Izmir, Türkiye.
"Inclusion in Actions" is a common proposal we developed with our partner PIYA (Pi Youth Association), and it is aiming to develop and expand international cooperation in the field of inclusion, intercultural dialogue and migrations to support local actions and increase opportunities for collaboration and learning.
The project addresses local challenges by promoting gender equality, addressing the lack of intercultural dialogue and facilitating in the integration of migrants in society.
We have been working remotely together in developing this proposal after we first met through "THE:PLACE programme" by ALDA - European Association for Local Democracy.
"THE:PLACE programme" is a program that unites local authorities with civil society organizations in Türkiye and the European Union, aiming for more inclusive and sustainable cities.
