General Information
Cona, institute for contemporary arts processing is NGO cultural institution based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Its main activity is production of contemporary art projects. Cona institute has an artistic director and producer and co-operates with various authors. Budgetary resources available per year are 30.000eur. Sources of funding are: Ministry of culture of Slovenia, Ljubljana City Municipality, international foundation and self financing activities. Modalities of action: intermedia and music arts production, publishing and education. A working unit within the Faculty of Arts. AE research/development centre will comprise the Unit for Anthropology of the Mediterranean. 23 staff (12 teachers and assistants; 3 administrative staff, 1 researcher and 7 junior research fellows). Budget estimation: 400.000 EUR – public funds plus other sources. Organisers of annual symposium Mess (Mediterranean Ethnological Summer Symposium). Main parters from the Mediterranean countries are coming from Italy, Croatia, Greece, France, Spain and Portugal. Bilateral research projects, teaching exchange and other kinds of dissemination of knowledge.
Mission and Objectives

The main aim of the Department is to provide the best possible education to students of ethnology and cultural anthropology. The aim of the research and development centre is to support teaching and to bridge the gap between academia and the general society, especially its economic structure.
A very important aim of the institution is to enable young people (students) to communicate with others and to challenge prejudices, racisms and other deviations in European neoliberal societies.

General Information
Design center has been established as a private company in 2002. It is an independent organization working on the design, art, research and education areas. Design center is gathering designers, artists, practitioners, theoreticians and other professionals in Southeast Europe with the purpose to establish intercultural and intersocial platform where independent culture, art and education can meet. Design center has no fully employed persons and is working on project based staff members. Design center is included in international networks of ICOGRADA and ADC-Art Directors Club.  Sources of funding: Ministry of Culture of Republic of Slovenia, City of Ljubljana, donations, granst and a part of the revenues come from business activities.  
Mission and Objectives

Design center is working on improvement, development and stimulation of high quality design, art, craftsmanship, culture and education in Southeast Europe. That includes organisation of the projects, programms and events of exhibitions, lectures, seminars, social projects and other relevant activities. The main objectiv is to stimulate and contribute in the development of the region through inclusion of all relevant disciplines that Design center is working at. Through creation of open space for research, production and distribution of the ideas and products, Design center is raising awareness of the importance of the local based actions in the global thinking alternatives.

The African Center of Slovenia is organized as an association, open to anyone who, regardless of nationality, is interested in the activities of the association. The board consist from 6 members and the president of the organisation. Members of the board and the president are elected by all the members of organisation for mandate that last 4 years. Board select the general secretary who is employed in the organisation. The organisation has 115 members. Our turnover in year 2012 was 65.0000,00€ We are financed by local community and from different funds on local, national and European level. Our project are aimed on young people in different levels. We are organising sport and cultural events, workshops, seminars and round tables. We are ginig counsalties to other organisations about project making. Our main partner is local community. we have a lot of partners abroad, specially on EURO-MEDITERRANEAN region.

Our objective is to show young people ways of spending their free time. We want to do that on international level with partners from Mediterranean region. Our mission is to make education with informal methods more recognisable.

General Information
Humanitas has 6-7 members of staff and a voluntary president. Its annual turnover is approximately 300,000 EUR. Funding comes from membership fees, donations and project funding (Europen Union and Slovene national/local government). We work mainly in the field of development cooperation and global education. We cooperate with NGOs in Central and South Europe.
Mission and Objectives

HUMANITAS, society for human rights and supportive action, strives to assert the rights of less privileged social groups in Slovenia and around the world. Through global education, intercultural dialogue and development projects it raises awareness of our mutual dependence and the importance of realising human rights, while encouraging respect for diversity.

Child sponsorship and community development in Burkina Faso, Ghana and Kenya. Fair trade in Slovenia and working with producers in Burkina Faso, Ghana, Uganda, Kenya, Egypt, Nepal. General Information
We work as volunteers, only 1 person is employed through public works fund. Annual budget is around 100.000 EUR. Sources of funding: sponsorships, donations, public funds and market sources Actions, exchanges, seminars: Yes, we perform all these activities -as described in details further on and evident in attachments. Jasa has received quite a few recognitions: for innovation in teaching techniques from Finance magazine and ASI (Slovenian Inventors’ Centre); for voluntary work a commendation from the President of the Republic and from Viva magazine; for the Grundtvig mobility in 2013 an Apple of Quality and the first prize from The Centre of the Republic of Slovenia for Mobility and European Educational and Training Programmes (CMEPIUS). Main partners involved: Ministry of School and Education, Ministry of Environment, local communities, schools and kindergartens, different business entities.                                            
Mission and Objectives

The main area of work is raising awareness and finding solutions to important social, development and environmental problems. Jasa's field of expertise is in information dissemination and two-way communication through narrative literature, strengthened by high artistic illustration. Jasa cooperates with the most established Slovenian experts in the field of education, writing and art of painting. The transfer media, which Jasa uses for raising knowledge and awareness, is high quality art book.
Jasa is cooperating with more than 500 Slovenian companies, more than 100 Slovenian municipalities, with most important Slovenian Ministries and development institutions as well as with all Slovenian primary schools (451), all kindergartens (402) and high schools (183)– in the last project more than 7700 pupils were involved. These strong national contacts make Jasa not only a reliable partner for achieving high project results, but also guarantee a wide dissemination effect from a low to the top level. Jasa has also cooperated in specific international projects with Croatia, Serbia, Monte Negro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy and Austria through various projects, financed mainly from the National Ministry’s funds.

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

Jasa Association's efforts:  helping to overcome the stereotypes and misunderstandings in social relations throughout all our regions in the country, building intercultural dialogue and respect of differences. Our main contribute could be preparing a unique multi-lingual book and introducing it through reading activities to the people of Mediterranean.

For the time being we don't have any employees, work is carried out on the voluntary basis of the representative of the association called I'm child of Universe. We do not have for the time being any available budget for year 2010, cause we have been established association in the beginning of September 2010. We plan to fund our activities and volunteers from the funds which are offered from Republic of Slovenia and EU funds. For the time being we do not have yet partners.

Rising awareness among people in the field of environment and sustainable development by organizing workshops, working camps and other events where we can share experiences of good practice with people.
Rising social awareness and social tolerance and equality among people by organizing different social and cultural events where we share experiences of good practice with people. Events which we would organize: cultural festivals with social topics, Migrant film festivals.
Cultural festivals where we would present cultural and social similarities among different nations, ethnic groups as well as differences which should be seen as enrichment of social and cultural diversity of life in place where they live.
