BULGARIAN-TURKISH EDUCATIONAL CENTER is a non-profit organization, registered on 30.01.2006 in Yambol District Court. It is a legal entity registered under the Law on legal non-profit organizations. The Association is an independent, self-governing, non-religious, democratic, voluntary organization supporting the implementation of programs in all spheres of public life, affecting the welfare of the community in the region and the country, uniting the efforts of citizens and municipal government agencies and organizations, individuals and legal persons. The association includes citizens, public bodies, experts and supporters, sympathetic to the aims and tasks, ready to assist its progress and prosperity. The association is separate from its members and is responsible for its obligations with its property. Members of the Association are reliable for its obligations only to the extent provided in the Statute property contributions.
Mission and Objectives

Objectives: The activity of the association is aimed at uniting the efforts of citizens, by carrying out its functions and tasks independently and in interaction with state and municipal bodies and organizations, individuals and legal entities; assist as partners in work programs and projects and self-realization of such, economic and physical security of these projects, dissemination of experience.
The objectives of the Association are achieved by any means permitted by law, it can develop any activities authorized by law to achieve its goals and objectives, establish contacts with similar associations in the country and abroad, conducts seminars, lectures, talks, discussions and exhibitions. The objectives of the Association are: development and strengthening of spiritual values, civil society, education, science and culture.

Main Projects / Activities

Commencement of collaboration between technical colleges of Yambol and Edirne;
Development of partnerships between Aytos Municipality and the Municipality Buyukkarashtaran;
We impplement the project “Promoting youth employment on the labor market in Yambol ” now (till 12.2010).
We are partner of the Turkish NGO in the project ‘Delight Your Life’ with main action in October 2010 in Izmir , Turkey with 5 countries: Italy, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey (leader).

General Information
It's a high school organisation which includes students from all classes, we have done about 15 meetings with orphans and old people from the Bulgarian centres for these people. We work only with resources we have reached- money from selling martenitsi, Christmas cards and other self-made stuff. There are some organisations which try to help us and to give us the chance to reach in their projects like "Assosiation Parents" and others.. We work with concrete projects and we also want to take part of exchanges and seminars.

-give youngsters an opportunity to feel more responsible with taking parts of different voluntary projects
-help poor, sick and homeless people
- help old people without families and orphans feel more loved and respected with just visiting them and being part of their world.

It's all time organisation and we work with children in trouble, orphans and old people- visit the places they live, play or just talk to them, help them feel better and to socialise them and also to help youngsters have the idea for being responsible and to find new opportunities in voluntarism

The association supports artistic expression that challenges common nonsense. KUD Mreža offers advice and support to emerging artists, artisans and other cultural workers within Metelkova.
The main objectives of AKC Metelkova mesto:
-To stop demolishing any of our buildings and to stay as long as we could on this location. If those buildings will be demolished we will ask have for another appropriate location.
-Our job is to help settle the situation at Metelkova and to establish useful service for organisations and individuals from AKC Metelkova mesto (negotiations with the City Government, reconstruction of some buildinfs, found-raising, programme coordination, any kind of advices...)

Main Projects / Activities

Here is a list of actual activities of KUD Mreža:
· managing the club Menza pri koritu (200m2, concerts, festivals, performances, film and video projections, round tables, workshops, projects for youth, rehearsals, etc. ),
· Alkatraz Gallery (contemporary art exhibitions),
· organizing cultural events (international festivals, guest appearances in Slovenia and abroad),
· international co-operation (membership in Trans Europe Halles – A European Network of Independent Culture Centres ),
· Photo archive (systematic collection and documentation of photographs, audio and video materials of and regarding Metelkova and the events occurring there),
· publishing diverse catalogues, editing and designing web sites,…),
· urban intervention (creating and arranging the surroundings of the centre, making mosaics, artistic atjects, sculptures ),
· fund raising and assuring the finances for making the realization of all ideas and projects possible.

General Information
Matafir, Assotiation for Intercultural Relations, is a non-profitable organisation established by students of the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology of the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, and assistant lecturers at the same department. Matafir does not employ any staff, and is based on predominantly voluntary activities. The Association gains budgetary resources by applying to Slovenian and European projects. Its main partners include several Slovenian NGOs working in the area of migration and human rights, and the Progress DP, Equal Initiative. Its main projects realised since 2005 include organisation of events marking the International day of refugees in 2005 and 2006, a youth summer exchange "Intercultural Dialogue", a research on asylum seekers' employment possibilities in Slovenian companies, and cooperation in the "Power of older refugees - a European project for awareness, activation, empowerment, cooperation" project headed by the Stichting Bevordering Maatschappelijke Participatie organisation from The Netherlands.
Mission and Objectives

Main purposes and goals of the Matafir Association are intercultural education and counselling, representation of interests of immigrants and other underprivileged groups in Slovenia, and encouraging integration as a two-way process.
Since its members predominantly consist of graduate and post-graduate students, as well as of young researchers, Matafir is also striving to stimulate students in gaining invaluable experiences by taking part in activities within the non-governmental sphere and by promoting equality and human rights.
Matafir enjoys strong confidence and support of the Department for Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology of the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Gimnazija Ptuj is a secundary Grammar School, with nearly 860 students. It's a public school, with 75 teachers and 12 employes on tehnical services. We take special care in providing programmes for student, that cover large variaty of action and give them possibilities to spoznati, in de. We caried out many international exchange programmes, to promote intercultural diversty (Comenius, E-twining,Mondialogo), we are active member of Unesco ASPnet Slovenia, and ACES (Wiena, Austria), ASEF and are involved in many others projects that encoruage students to discover other cultures and promote respect for others.
