General Information
Since 1970, CIOFF works for the safeguarding, promotion and diffusion of traditional culture. Through its activities, CIOFF aims for the following main objectives: Promote the intangible heritage, through forms of expression such as dance, music, games, rituals, customs and other arts. Serve the objectives of UNESCO Support the activities of its members and those of non-governmental organizations working in the areas of folklore and cultural heritage Serve the cause of peace and non-violence through the implementation of the above objectives At present, CIOFF worldwide membership covers 118 countries of the World with 67 National Sections, 21 Associate Members and 30 Corresponding Members. It is estimated that over 1 million people, including over 30'000 folklore dance and music groups and folk arts organisations are associated with CIOFF through their CIOFF National Sections Worldwide.    
Mission and Objectives

Since 1970 CIOFF as a UNESCO NGO has been working towards safeguarding, promotion and diffusion of folklore and traditional cultures:
Promoting the intangible cultural heritage through dance, music, songs, games, rituals, ceremonies, customs, traditional crafts, costumes and food.
Contributing to preservation of cultural identity throughout the world.
Implementing its Policy on Transmission of Cultural Heritage to Children.
Supporting the activities of its members in the areas of folklore and traditional culture.
Serving the cause of peace and non-violence through international cultural cooperation.
Implementing the UNESCO Programmes related to traditional cultures.
Compiling the “Directory of Experts in Folklore “.
We have no source of funding except for the board members small donations necessary for running our work .. Main partner is UNESCO

Etablissement Public doté de la personnalité civile et de l’autonomie financière, actuellement placée sous la tutelle  du Ministère de la solidarité de la femme, de la famille et du développement social. L’Entraide Nationale est administrée par un Conseil d’Administration, présidé par le Premier Ministre ou l’autorité gouvernementale déléguée par lui à cet effet. La gestion de l’Entraide Nationale est confiée à un Directeur nommé dans les conditions prévues par la réglementation en vigueur. L’Entraide Nationale est soumise au contrôle prévu par le dahir N°1-59-271 du 14 avril 1960, tel qu’il a été modifié par le dahir n°1-61-402 du 30 juin 1962, organisant le contrôle financier de l’Etat sur les offices, les établissements et sociétés concessionnaires ainsi que sur les sociétés et organismes bénéficiant du concours financier de l’Etat ou de collectivités publiques et au contrôle de la Cour des Comptes. L’organisation financière et comptable de l’Entraide Nationale est régie par l’arrêté du Ministre de l’Economie et des Finances n°2.2347 du juillet 1998. Au niveau territorial, l’Entraide Nationale est représentée par des Délégations Préfectorales ou Provinciales, assistées de Comités Provinciaux ou Préfectoraux Consultatifs. Les Délégations exécutent la politique de l’Institution au niveau territorial, concourent à l’identification des projets à réaliser, suivent leur exécution, supervisent la gestion des centres relevant de leur ressort et contrôlent les oeuvres sociales et de bienfaisance bénéficiant de l’appui de l’Entraide Nationale. Les Comités Consultatifs assistent les Délégués Préfectoraux ou Provinciaux de L’Entraide Nationale dans l’identification de projets de développement local et collaborent à la mobilisation des  fonds nécessaires à leur exécution.  Les ressources de financement de l’Entraide Nationale sont constituées par :     Les subventions de l’Etat et des collectivités locales ;     Les taxes parafiscales instituées à son profit ;     Le produit des souscriptions publiques ;     Les dons et legs ;     Les revenus de ses biens meubles et immeubles ;     Les recettes de ses Centres (produits de la vente d’articles fabriqués par les Centres et cotisations des bénéficiaires) ;     Les produits divers.  
Mission and Objectives

L’Entraide Nationale a pour mission d’apporter toute forme d’aide et d’assistance aux populations et de concourir à la promotion familiale  et sociale.
Elle contrôle les oeuvres privées d’assistance et de bienfaisance qu’elle subventionne.
Elle peut être consultée sur  l’opportunité de la création de toute oeuvre publique à caractère social ou charitable ainsi que sur les mesures générales ou particulières intéressant la solidarité et l’entraide.
Elle effectue la collecte, le stockage, la répartition et la distribution des dons et subventions dans le cadre des missions qui lui sont dévolues.
Elle contribue à la formation des agents affectés aux oeuvres qu’elle contrôle.
Elle peut être appelée à participer à la création d’institutions et d’établissements destinés à faciliter l’accès au travail et à l’intégration sociale des orphelins, des handicapés physiques et de toute personne relevant de son assistance.
L’Entraide Nationale peut, sans  autorisation spéciale, faire appel à la générosité publique.

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

Since i work for The National Mutual Aid, and given the fact that it is the public institution that has the most representativeness at the local level all across Morocco, this specificity makes that it has a more concrete contact and knowledge on the situation of the local populations.
Therefore we have a constant contact with the local organisations and we work often with NGOs in collaboration framework so we are able to exchange  knowledge and experiences and work on various project with a diverse network of actors, witch makes our institution able to mobilise actors, and to initiate multiple actions, to organise meetings and special events to debate and share informations. 

Why do you want to join the ALF Network?

The Anna Lindh Foundation is known for its multiple actions in various fields across the mediterranean, for its importante work and researches gathering together civil society and citizens. So as a social worker, and as an employee of the National Mutual Aid wich is the public institution that work the most with various population in local areas to improve their living conditions, being part of the ALF will allow me to gain more knowledge so that i can share it with my co-workers in order to develop and reinforce our ways of working for better results and for a better vision, all of this obviously for the good of the people with whom we work.
Also on a personal level the exchange along with different people with various background and various life trajectories with help improve myself, my skills, and also my visions in life and my futur perspectives.

Anthropolis Association is a Budapest based public benefit organisation with National and European activities in focus. 4-6 staff members work with Anthropolis according to actual project needs. The association has been involved in several European partnerships, projects were also granted by Swiss and Norvegian funds. Majority of the association's income is from International grants, smaller parts of our income are from membership fees and donations, National funds, tax benefit, selling books and periodicals.  Anthropolis is a board member of the Hungarian Association of NGOs for Development and Humanitarian Aid (HAND -  member of the CONCORD platform).

Mission and Objectives

Anthropolis is a public benefit association based in Budapest, Hungary. The organisation intends to promote the values of cultural relativism, participatory approach, citizens' empowerment, critical thinking and awareness on global issues. In order to introduce global perspective in institutional education and strike up social discourse, Anthropolis has created media and awareness-raising campaigns, educational programmes and materials and documentaries focused on the topics of global learning, cultural heritage of minorities, fair trade, migration, gender equality and contemporary slavery.

Main Projects / Activities

Global Learning (developing and distributing educational materials, organising workshops and courses for both students and teachers) and Digital storytelling (DST) are the main working areas of Anthropolis. We are one of the main and most active promoters on global learning in Hungary. We provide support for teachers, trainers representing all levels of the educational system to be able to embed the global perspective into their teaching practice, and promote sustainability as a complex (environmental, socal, economical) issue. Besides global educational activities, Anthropolis applies the Digital Storytelling method in different projects for diverse target groups including students, teachers, people with special needs, professionals etc. We dedicate two websites especially for digital storytelling [www.storycenter.hu and www.storycenter.info].

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

Anthropolis as an active board member of the National platform's global education board is capable of lobbying at different stakeholders and decision makers level. Also has a wide range of school partnerships to have a direct contribution of different global education issues for teachers and students as well. Anthropolis is also active in the youth field.

Anthropolis' mission and main objectives correspond with ALF goals. A Foundation dedicated to the educational and social development of the residents of Bekaa, especially women and children and the underprivileged. The Foundation also addresses environmental issues. the members of sawa are 50 ( 7 in the board ) but we have many volunnteers in the villages . the source of funding is by donation , some workshops with " friedrich Nawmann foundation"  we did many workshops for women, children and youth the partners are the municipalities in most activities ( Majdel Anjar and Kob Elias ) and Al houdoud club in Majdel Anjar 

Mission and Objectives

The main objective os Sawa to develop the aknowledge for people especially the underprivileged, we care about Human Rights, the dialogue between diffrent communities, now the dialogue and conflict resolution between the Syrians Refugees and the lebanese community, we care about the education for children and youth , we provide specail courses for illitracy in refugees camps in Bekaa ,  we care about the women rights, we organized many workshops about gender based violence and awerness about early childrn marriage  women empowerment is our goal, we organized worshops for women  entreprneur and economical empowerment 

Main Projects / Activities

• Worked closely with Environment and Development magazine and participated in its workshops on the environment. Published articles in the magazine on environmental issues especially in Bekaa, Lebanon. The Foundation organized educational programs such as painting and reading to the children in the schools. • Participated in Billion Tree campaign with UNEP, we planted about 50000 conifers trees in Bekaa valley, Lebanon • A member of Sawa Associatiopn is a Junior Board member with UNEP ( representing West Asia) • Welcomed the Syrian refugees  as they came to Lebanon through the borders ( 2011 ) , worked to assist the displaced in Bekaa distributing shelter, food, and services for refugees. • Planted 3000 conifers trees in 6 refugees camps in Bar –Elias , Lebanon, • Organized workshops about Child marriage and Violence against women in Bekaa and Akkar , and in Refugees camps in Bar- Elias • Opening a public library in Bar Elias camp • Workshops with FNF on the topic of gender violence in the refugees camps. • Workshops for children ( Syrians and Lebanese ) about children rights we opened 3  English classes for women ( TWE ) , a program in collaboration with the American Embassy in Beirut ( in the villages jib- jannine, Majdel Anjar and Beirut ) with municipalities as parteners   

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

We are looking to double our work and share ideas and workshops with other organizations, to be more effective inthe region especailly Bekaa valley where there is poverty and illitracy for women, we have a large community to work with, we are aiming for workshops for youth about conflict resolution and awarness against fanatics and war, to make an approach between different sections in villages of different religions and between different communities

We are aiming to be a member to activate our work, acquire new knowledge , share ideas and work on the same theme to improve our community and be a part of ALF work in the middle east,

The Czech High School Students Union (CSU) is a non-profit student organisation representing high school students in the Czech Republic. We hold bi-annual general assemblies where 5 or 7 Board members are elected by delegates representing their schools and our goals set. Also, we elect Monitoring Committee consisting of 5 members. We are funded both from govermental resources and private foundations. We are part of 2 main umrella organisations: the Czech Council of Children and Youth and OBESSU - The Organising Bureau of European School Student Unions. At the moment, we don't employ and staff. The CSU is a partner of Ministry of Education and Educational Committee in the Czech Parliement. We mediate students' views on educational policy changes and aim to improve the school system in our country. For that we use media campaigns and projects focused on students.
Mission and Objectives

The Czech High School Students Union was founded to unite Czech students, promote and defend their rights, and, most importantly, achieve better representation of students in educational decision making. We encourage students to run active student governments in their schools, and on a national level we create a platform for students‘ discussion about education policy. We strive to represent students‘ voice in the dialogue with the Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic. Through our projects and workshops, we aim to develop students‘ skills such as critical and analytical thinking.

The Model Student Governament - brouchure created to help high school students to establish and maintain student councils at their schools.

No to Dubbing - campaign with open letter aiming to introduce dual broadcasting (dubbing + original audio with subtitles).

Round tables in Parliament - every 3 months we get tens of student in the Parliament to discuss policy changes with experts.

Experience High School Differently - workshops based on tackling common school topics (teaching, curriculum...) and finding ways to improve them.

صغيرة من خلال تطوير بعض الحرف والمهارات وتحويلها إلى إنتاج يدوي مثمر. • المساهمة في العمل على تنمية وبناء الكوادر العلمية وأصحاب الدراسات العليا, ونشر الوعي المجتمعي الذي يدعو إلى المحبة والمودّة بين General Information
Osez le féminisme ! est une association de loi 1901 basée à Paris et ayant 24 antennes en France. L'association est laïque, universaliste, progressite et mixte. L'équipe est composée de bénévoles - Conseil d'Administration et Bureau - d'une moyenne d'âge de 20-30 ans et comprend une seule salariée. Nos principaux partenaires sont le Collectif National des Droits des Femmes, la Coordination pour le Lobby Européen des Femmes, les Féministes en Mouvements et Abolition 2012. En 2015, le budget a été de 150 000 € et sera sensiblement identique en 2016. Nos ressources sont à 50% propres (cotisations et collectes) et 50% issues d'appel à projets publics (Mairie de Paris, Région Ile-de-France, SDFE). OLF a pour principales activités la rédaction d'un journal bimestriel, la conception de campagnes de sensiblisation sur des sujets intéressant les droits des femmes, l'organisation de rencontres-débats, conférences et formations ouvertes à toutes et tous. Par ailleurs, nous utilisons intensivement les réseaux sociaux qui apparaissent propices à la sensibilisation des jeunes.
Mission and Objectives

Osez le féminisme ! a pour but d'élever le niveau de féminisme dans la société et de contribuer à faire progresser les droits des femmes et l'égalité femmes-hommes dans les mentalités et dans les faits.
L'association a la possibilité de poursuivre en justice et de se constituer partie civile pour toute action ayant pour but de combattre les discriminations, notamment entre les femmes et les hommes, devant toutes les juridictions françaises, notamment pénales, et internationales.

Main Projects / Activities

Osez le féminisme ! organise chaque mois une réunion plénière thématique ouverte aux militant-es et au grand public réunissant jusqu'à 100 personnes sur des sujets tels que "Femmes réfugiées : les féministes se mobilisent ", "les jouets sexistes " ou "les-bie-family". Deux fois par an, un week-end de formation composé d'ateliers - l'histoire du féminisme, combattre le stéréotypes, l'éco-féminisme - rassemble plus 150 participant-es et une fois par an, une université d'été organisée avec les 45 associations du collectif FEM (Féministes en Mouvements) réunit plus de 800 personnes - militant-es, chercheurs-euses, élu-es, étudiant-es.
Nous menons également des campagnes nationales de sensibilisation et de mobilisation à destination du grand public sur la parité, l'égalité professionnelle, les violences faites aux femmes, sur la question des retraites ou des violences économiques, sur la représentation des femmes dans l'espace public ou encore à propos des discriminations sexuelles.

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

Via son implication dans les FEM soit plus de 45 associations féministes françaises, Osez le féminisme ! : a depuis longtemps analysé qu'un message fort se doit d'être relayé et amplifié en partenariat avec des associations amies. En rejoignant le réseau français, l'association souhaite développer ces partenariats et y contribuer, à l'aide de ses compétences en matière de campagnes nationales et/ou de réseaux sociaux.

Why do you want to join the ALF Network?

Le 17 janvier 2015, Osez le féminisme ! avec les FEM a organisé un grand évènement : les 40 ans de la loi Veil afin de célébrer l'avortement sur et légal en France. A cette occasion, nous avons souhaité inviter des femmes leaders de leurs associations euro-méditeranéennes afin qu'elles puissent décrire, expliquer les luttes qu'elles mènent dans leur pays. C'est ainsi que des représentantes d'associations du Maroc, d'irlande, de Hongrie, de Norvège mais aussi du Sénégal et de Colombie sont venues à Paris.
Nous sommes persuadées qu'avec ALF, nous allons encore renforcer l'impact de la lutte pour l'égalité femmes-hommes et faire avancer les droits des femmes.
