Within the ALF Egyptian Intercultural Programme which aims to support local cultural initiatives and events as well as foster synergies with institutions, mobilising the civil society, and networking on a local level, the ALF Secretariat organised an event at its premises in Alexandria during the month of December 2022.
On 22 December, the ALF hosted at the von Gerber house the film screening of the documentary ‘We the Guinea Pigs’ organised by the Danish-Egyptian Dialogue Initiative and Banlastic Egypt.
The event comes as a closing to an amazing year of EcoKino, the documentary film platform launched earlier this year. EcoKino includes four environmental documentary films and seven short films subtitled/dubbed into Arabic in collaboration with Banlastic Egypt.
The films are hosted on Vimeo and available for screening free of charge for NGOs, schools, libraries, universities and other organisations who wish to organise a screening. Read more here: https://dedi.org.eg/ecokino/
